Thank you for registering to play in The Patriot Presented by Discraft. We are a proud member of the Disc Baron Series. I would like to thank both of these companies continued support of this event and events all across Michigan. Thanks to Hunt’s Hideaway for having us back for a 2nd year. Lastly, thank you to you all for your patronage.

All amateur payouts will be going through Disc Baron’s online store. If you are in a cashing spot at the end of the event, you will receive an email from Disc Baron via the email that was used during registration on Disc Golf Scene. This email will contain your payout amount and your coupon code. We encourage everyone to utilize www.discbaron.com for all of their disc golf needs.

Holes 7 & 9 are being sponsored by The Land Whale Open. You will find a CTP for all divisions on each of these holes as well as drinks. Registration is ongoing for this PDGA C Tier event at Hunts Hideaway on June 27 https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Land_Whale_Open_2021

THERE IS A MANDATORY CHECK IN FOR THIS EVENT. Check in from 7:30am – 8:20am. Just look for the table near the Discraft Feather Banner. We will have printed out lists showing if you purchased a Disc Baron Dri Fit or bought raffle tickets (Zuca or Chainstar Lite) or are in the Ace Pool or 50/50. If you did not get into the Ace Pool or 50/50, you may do so during this time. They are $5 each. Raffle tickets are also $5 each and can be bought on site as well. The Zuca Cart is for Saturday only. The Chainstar Lite will be drawn on Sunday. We will do a live drawing for this on Facebook. We will get the basket to the winner if they are not present to take it. Additionally, we will have a list of the first 45 players that were registered for this event and receiving a free disc from Discraft.

We are using PDGA Live Scoring for this event. The scoring password will be available at check in. Live scoring has all of the OB loaded into it. There will also be a message with all of the CTP locations on it. We will also have hard copy scorecards available upon request. It is recommended that all groups use a secondary scorecard (other type of digital scoring or hard card) for a check at the end of the event.

COURSE LOCATION: 9306 E. Dodge Rd Otisville, MI 48463. If GPS says turn on Patrica Drive do not do that. Continue to Dodge rd. We have a mini basket on top of mailbox. Please obey the speed limit as you are coming down the drive way.

Berth Allocations to the Discraft Michigan State Championships Presented by Dunegrass: MA50 1 Berth, MA2 5 Berths, & MA4 3 Berths. Berths will be reported within 1 week. You may then register for the event after that time.

After registration closes, within 1-2 hours, we will have all of the hole assignments posted. You will be able to see them at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/50783 You will still need to come and check in prior to playing however.

All cash payouts, Pro Players, 50/50 winner, and Ace Pool will be made via PayPal within a few hours of the event ending. There will be a form for all these winners to fill out so that they payment is made to the correct account.

House Rules: DO NOT ENTER ANY BODY OF WATER TO RETREIVE A DISC. The Hunts do a good job of recovering disc and getting with people to get their discs back to them. DO NOT CROSS ANY FENCE TO RECOVER A DISC. If you throw a disc over a fence, report it at HQ and we will work to get your disc back to you (it may not be today). If you encounter any neighbors, be courteous. Please do not litter. No speeding on the entrance road. Failure to observe these rules may result in a DQ from the event and being banned from the course.

PDGA Cancellation Policy.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. (This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; see 1.03.B above.)

We hope that you all had a good day of competition & that you for making Black Ace part of that Thank you to the Hunts for allowing us to be there the entire weekend. There will be aw detailed email on the event sent out a day before the event. If you are on the wait list, keep waiting. I process the withdraw requests as they come in. If you are not in the event by the time that registrations closes, you will be refunded shortly after. There is no getting into the event after registration closes.
