I'm glad we were able to get everyone through the course and rounds completed before the weather came in. Big thanks to Mark for putting on a great event and to Nacho and Travis for lending him a hand. Also a Big Thanks to the Hunt's for allowing us to come out to their amazing course!

Thanks to everyone coming out to play. I hope it ok all had a good time! I will get the cash payouts sent out tonight. MJ15/18 I will be contacting you for shipping addresses for your trophies. I had 2 CTPs that were won by local players. I will get those to you (Derek Evans & Ranger Dave).

I am glad that we were able to complete that round. For those that did not see me, the last 4-5 holes of play, I was out in the middle of Hole 6 so I could get a good look at the southern and northwestern skies along with running 2 lightning apps. There was a some rumbling in those directions but they were all more than the standard of 10 miles away as I never got an alert.

Berths winners will be turned in tomorrow.

Amateur Payouts will be emailed within 24 hours and Jacob will post here when he does. If you have any troubles with that you can contact me to Jacob directly.

I would like to thank both of these companies continued support of this event and events all across Michigan. Thanks to Hunt’s Hideaway for having us back for a 3rd year. Lastly, thank you to you all for your continued patronage.
Please do not park beyond the line of flags down by Tee #1.

All amateur payouts will be going through Disc Baron’s online store. If you are in a cashing spot at the end of the event, you will receive an email from Disc Baron via the email that was used during registration on Disc Golf Scene. This email will contain your payout amount and your coupon code. All prices including shipping.

THERE IS A MANDATORY CHECK IN FOR THIS EVENT. Check in from 7:45am to 8:30am. Tee time is at 8:40am. There is no player meeting. This was changed today in a post earlier.
In an effort to beat the rain that we may get at the end of the day tomorrow, lunch will be 45 minutes after the last card that finishes the first round. Please plan accordingly.
There will be water on the course in 2 locations. Please do not consider this your sole source for water/drinks for the day. This is merely for convenience while on the course and be mindful of proper hydration throughout the day as you play.

We are using PDGA Live Scoring for this event. The scoring password will be available at check in. Live scoring has all of the OB loaded into it. There will also be a message with all of the CTP locations on it. We will also have hard copy scorecards available upon request. It is recommended that all groups use a secondary scorecard (other type of digital scoring (you can have multiple people using the PDGA Live Scoring) or hard card) for a check at the end of the event.

COURSE LOCATION: 9306 E. Dodge Rd Otisville, MI 48463. If GPS says turn on Patrica Drive do not do that. Continue to Dodge rd. We have a mini basket on top of mailbox. Please obey the speed limit as you are coming down the drive way.

After registration closes, within 1-2 hours, we will have all of the hole assignments posted. You will be able to see them at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/58242 You will still need to come and check in prior to playing however.

All cash payouts, Pro Players, 50/50 winner, and Ace Pool will be made via PayPal within a few hours of the event ending. There will be a form for all these winners to fill out so that they payment is made to the correct account and to the correct PayPal account.

If you purchased a Disc Baron Series shirt or discs, please get them between Round 1 & 2. They are being delivered from Disc Baron and they may not be here yet during check in.

House Rules: DO NOT ENTER ANY BODY OF WATER TO RETREIVE A DISC. The Hunts do a good job of recovering disc and getting with people to get their discs back to them. DO NOT CROSS ANY FENCE TO RECOVER A DISC. If you throw a disc over a fence, report it at HQ and we will work to get your disc back to you (it may not be today). If you encounter any neighbors, be courteous. Please do not litter. No speeding on the entrance road. Failure to observe these rules may result in a DQ from the event and being banned from the course.

Thanks for registering for one/both of The Patriot tournaments this weekend! This is NOT the player meeting; this is merely a bunch of information that you may find useful for playing in the event. There is an on site player meeting.

Course Location: 9306 E. Dodge Rd. Otisville, MI 48463, Otisville, MI, 48463 https://goo.gl/maps/hErSipdFkMfWLiwA6 Enter the residential driveway and take the gravel drive to the right. DO NOT SPEED.

Course Information: This is a private course and all rules must be followed. Anyone found to be violating rules will be disqualified and lose the privilege of playing at the course in the future. There is a lot of water features on this course and the chances of loosing discs is highly possible. It is recommended that you have extra discs/discs that you do not care about if you lose them.

General Course Rules: Do not enter any bodies of water for any reason. Do not cross fences to collect any discs that may have unfortunately thrown over. Do not speed on the gravel drive. Do not litter or destroy any features on the course.

Saturday Lunch: Unfortunately, Bruce’s Bad Ass BBQ has other commitments and will not be there. There is not much in terms of places nearby for lunch. There are VERY few options in nearby Otisville. I do not think you will have time to drive to Davison and get back in time. I would urge you to plan to be on site for lunch.

Sunday Lunch: Fortunately, Bruce’s Bad Ass BBQ will be on site to lunch. As above, there is VERY limited options in nearby Otisville and I would not recommend trying to drive to Davison and back. I would urge you to plan to be on site for lunch.

Weather Outlook: It looks like there are chances of rain for both days. I would recommend that you take the appropriate actions to stay dry as possible on the course. We will play through rain and I follow all the PDGA rules for hazardous play. I would be sounding the air horn 3 times to suspend play if necessary. All players need to leave the course.

Late Withdrawls: This is the section of the PDGA Competition Manual that covers where we are now just a few days before the event. There are no walk up registrations for this event and also the wait list will be refunded by 10pm the night before the event. If you do need to do this, go to the event page here on DiscGolfScene, hit registered players, and then hit Withdraw. This is the official way to leave the tournament.
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B.

All cash payouts will be via PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the event.

I know that if we get through 1 round, the tournament would be considered "complete" if we cannot finish the second due to delays.

I’m already registered and paid, and when I go to edit my registration to add another person (my son), PayPal keeps trying to charge me for him AND me again, instead of just him. Any suggestions? I see spots are almost gone and I want to make sure he gets in. Thanks
