Thanks to everyone who attended the Panhandle Open 6. We had exceptional weather for a day of Disc Golf. Pro payout was 190% and Amateur event value was around 150%.

First and foremost, please take a moment to fill out this survey if you stayed in a hotel or traveled in town in any capacity. This helps Pensacola Sports track things and helps future events. Please note everyone in your party if possible.

We had a few scheduling setbacks and I appreciate everyone's patience working through the cross country and longer rounds that came from that. We are working with the dean at the college to ensure this does not happen again.

We had a few other unexpected hiccups, but overall everything ran smoothly. The event report is submitted now that I have all follow ups finalized. Please remember to make sure your card and scores are submitted correctly in the future, as we had 3-4 cards with submission issues.

I learn new things every year, which is a great part of making things bigger and better.

We have some big things in the works for next year, so stay tuned.

1. Updated Caddy book was sent. I had a 19th hole listed on the original, and we are only playing 18.

2. Important update for Pool C At Gator links in the morning.
I was informed about a cross country meet a week ago. This is a specific PSC meet, therefore Disc Golf takes the 2nd priority. This was the reason we bumped tee off to 930.
It is HIGHLY encouraged that players warm up at Blackwater in the morning. If you cannot, Disc Golfers will be limited to holes 4-10 and 12-15 for warm ups. I recognize this is not ideal, but this is the only option.
Anyone who does not follow these rules or gets reported for throwing on a non designated hole will be disqualified.
I’ll be at Gator Links in the morning instead of Blackwater to make sure I remind everyone of these rules. Please stick to these. I’ll have a reminder in the email tonight too.

3. Starting holes are set on the PDGA event page.

4. I have attached photos of the Mando and Drop Zone of hole 14 at Blackwater. Please be aware of this mando when teeing off. I added caution tape onto the tree for more visibility. I had planned to mount a metal sign, but it was stolen from the course earlier this week.

This message will serve as our player's meeting for the event. Please read over the post in full and view the attachments.

First, thank you for attending the Panhandle Open 6 Powered by Flight Factory and Innova. If you are traveling in town for the event and staying at a hotel, please fill out the following survey. Please see the caddy book for information on schedule, pools, courses, tees, etc. The caddy book also lists the OB for each course and hole distances. If you are unsure of a call, please collaborate with your group and play a provisional if necessary.

**Tee time has been moved to 9:30AM. Cross Country is running at Gator Links at 7AM and expects to finish around 900AM. We recommend warming up at Blackwater if possible. You may not practice on holes when cross country is running. Any dangerous complaints of a player throwing on runners will result in disqualification.

I will be set up at Blackwater DGC in the morning. Check in is optional and Am's may get their player's pack at any time during the day.

Restrooms will be available at both courses. Building 4000(Gym) at PSC and in the Baseball storage area at the new Milton course. Parking will be challenging at both courses, so we encourage carpooling if possible.

Scoring will be handled through PDGA. This is very easy to use and will save a ton of time for all participants.

Awards, payout, and raffles will be held at Gator Links in that order after the conclusion of the 2nd round. Please ensure score cards are submitted quickly after round 2 to help us get the awards ready quickly.

If you bought raffle tickets, these will be given during check in. You must be present to win to coordinate getting your items.

My whole family is traveling for the tournament. We only have one car & we are all playing. Is is possible to put us all at the same course together? (Keith Tate MA4, Holden Tate MA3, Amy Tate FA4, Brody Tate MJ15). Also, we don't have an adult to caddie for Brody. If possible, we would like to get him on a card with one of us for at least the first round. If not, I understand. Thanks.

A couple of important things.
1. Refunds - within 14 days of the event, your refund is dependent on whether there is a waitlist person in your pool to fill your spot. If there is not, you may be impacted. If you cannot play and would prefer a player pack, please let me know via email or on disc golf scene.
