That's a wrap, what a weekend! We would like to thank everyone who came and took part in the event. This will definitely be a memorable event for us for many reasons. When I came down with covid the week of the event I was devastated. We worked really hard on this for months and to not be able to be a part of it was tough. But wow, did our team shine! We cannot tell you how proud of everyone who stepped up for us this weekend. Todd and all the staff at the shop. All the TD's and volunteers who braved some really long hard days for this. The Ludington's for all the work on Fisher and the Flipbook. The DDG for the amazing looking courses. The PDGA who gave me constant support during a time when honestly, I just didn't know how we were going to get it in. Team members and friends who checked on us and listened when I really needed it. The players who battled not only the course but elements as well. We know it's tough trekking on and off the course during storms. Heck even Greene County Parks took my call and gave us support this weekend. At any turn of trouble someone was there to get in front of it and cover. I will never forget the 1st HSO. It may be the hardest event I have ever run with all the hurdles but I'm not sure if we have ever been more proud of the way things went. To all of you who made this event so special, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I lost a Cotton candy looking halo Calvin destroyer no name on it in the water on 17. Id love to get it back. 7406923824 pink in middle blue on the outside. It’s a 22’ has a tiny dot in the center out the back

That was an awesome tournament, big thanks to everyone at Hazy and all of the awesome disc golfers competing.

I really enjoyed the format, and I can’t wait to see how this tourney evolves. Please do it again!!!

Well.....I can't believe we made it. The work the Tournament staff and players put in to get this round complete was nothing short of amazing. We can plan for a lot but mother nature is not one. Tee times are now set. If for any reason you can't make it please let us know. Thanks again everyone.

Okay, lets talk about it. 1st off this is all hypothetical as its not going to happen but what if.....what if it rains today. Player safety is our #1 concern. If there is severe weather or lightning please mark your lie and leave the course for shelter immediately. DO NOT FINISH YOUR HOLE. Look for your course TDs for direction. We will postpone for 30 minutes after a lightning strike then resume play. If lightning strikes again we would need to stop again. We will try to complete as many holes ... more

We will try to complete as many holes as we can tonight until it becomes too dark to play. At that time we would have to stop for the night. Then tomorrow we would need to finish the holes we did not complete today before we move to the next round. This would happen by shotgun start 1st thing tomorrow morning. So say you complete 9 holes today, tomorrow you would need to be on the course on hole 10 at the announced time and all players would finish. At that point we would set the times for the second round and you would need to be ready to go for it as well. If you completed your round today we will move you to the next course tomorrow and hopefully we can start you at normal times. If for some reason we get completely rained out this could adjust things more. Please stay alert to TDs and conditions and we will be working hard to make things as smooth as we can through this. If your are running a little early for your tee time make sure to look for the folks from Gravity Spas on the courses today for a quick massage to loosen up.

Severe thunderstorms with hail damaging winds and potential tornado is the current forecast at 2 PM. Lightning seems the least of our worries. I hope there’s a plan To keep everyone safe and off the course in shelter.

Hey if you are playing CFP build time into your drive. There is paving going on just outside the park that will cause delay. Also hamvention is going on as well. Please plan accordingly

Just to clear any confusion for am players. We emailed a gift card to you today. You do not have to spend it now but we will have specials and discounts for you over the weekend exclusive for HSO players so stopping in would be a plus for you. We have worked hard to stack our players room with some great options for you all. We also have a few nice other items as well for you. You do not need to check in today, we will be available all weekend but you must be on time for your round.

It’s going to be hot today and tomorrow so please be prepared. Sunscreen, lots of water and dry shoes and socks would be advised. Also please help us keep our parks looking amazing buy packing in and packing out your trash this weekend.

Courses are set. We may be painting at Belmont still today. With the weather and the grass we are a little behind on that. Also please note that we painted to OB’s at CFP with the idea that we may see some heavy rain over night and can not control how high the water might rise. Please be aware.

PDGA.com/score
The code for your PDGA scoring is HSO 2022. Even though we have the players caddy book with course particulars the PDGA site would be the official set of course particulars for the event. I do not think there is any difference in them but if there was for any reason please review your PDGA score card. If you are running a second card and your phone has issues or a player leaves you need to complete their card. You can do this by clicking the copy button in the top corner of the card and copying the score to the official card.




We will have folks out all weekend taking pictures and videos. We will work to get those out for you asap after the event as well.

Just wanted to confirm MA40 is playing CFP Blues. We're not listed in the caddy book.

Hi Jeremy. I’m registered for MA3 currently, which I see is the top division in pool C. Does that mean that my tee time is later in the day since it’s the highest division in the pool? If so, would switching to MA2 make my tee time early since it’s one of the lowest divisions in pool B? If so could I please do that? I have an early evening commitment and would rather play a harder division as opposed to dropping out. sorry for the late change, but hopefully it helps since I see Pool C has 131/130 registered.
