I'd like to thank everyone who came out to support the ADGA at the Forest Fling yesterday. I'd also like to thank Jonas Moser for working hard to provide the best possible experience for all the players. Scores are now posted here and on PDGA.

On another note, I'd like to ask the open division players who finished in the cash for a little patience on receiving their payouts. I need to address some things with the PDGA before I finalize them, but in most cases it will likely ... more

I have had several requests today from people to see if they can still be registered for the tournament. I had one cancellation and filled it with the first person that contacted me to request a spot. As of right now I have two people in line for a spot if one opens up. I hope that everyone understands why we place a cap on the registration. Having 80+ people on the course last year was too much, especially for a small, tightly packed course like Girdwood. Thanks again to everyone who registered ahead of time!

I do have interest! I'm Asst-TD-ing the states fundraiser--I'm open to doing that for other events this year, and I'd definitely like to TD something next year.

Joe Caissie   May 24, 2019 at 7:14pm

I forgot that the fee goes to DGScene--I'm fine with that. For some reason I thought there was another fee associated with Paypal.

Jeremy Boyd   May 24, 2019 at 7:52pm

There is also a fee that goes to Paypal. That's super awesome to hear that you are doing that! I'll definitely chat with you regarding future events and stepping into a TD role next year.

The tournament is now full. Thanks everyone for registering in advance, it will help us make things run smoothly come Saturday. Please remember to check in on Saturday morning so that we know everyone is in attendance. I hope everyone is primed for some G Wood action!

Spots are filling very quickly at this point for the tournament on Saturday. I would advise those who plan to play this event to register online now or arrange to get payment to myself or Jonas. We will NOT register any more than 72 players, so don't wait until the last minute to decide whether you'd like to play or not as there may not be a spot left for you. Thanks to all of those who have preregistered, and we'll see you all on Saturday!

It reads like an allowance to me or an exception. They don't want to promote it but it's an option for goofy C-Tiers.

Jeremy Boyd   May 18, 2019 at 8:44am

It makes sense for smaller events to have the option to do so.
