Is this cart friendly?

Andy Klinger   April 19, 2023 at 12:51am

No. There are several steep slopes and lots of steps.

Carol Click   April 19, 2023 at 1:12am

Thanks. That makes my decision

Played today (tournament blue layout). It was in great shape! Will there be a caddy guide to explain some of the out of bounds lines? The stakes along the top of the ridge on hole 8 and 15 were confusing. From the long tees of 8 to the white basket, must you clear the hill past the stakes to be in bounds? Our other theory was that they pertained to 15 maybe? If there is out of bounds, is there a drop zone? If there is a comprehensive caddy guide coming, no need to answer. Thanks again for putting this on

Tournament Blue uses the short tee of 8 to the long basket on the peninsula. There will be a caddy guide that explains everything.

Andy Klinger    April 16, 2023 at 12:26pm

The player email with event information and tee times will be coming out Tuesday morning following the close of registration (10pm Monday). Tee times may be adjusted by +/- 10 minutes if there are any last minute drops/adds. Thank you.

I noticed the blue tournament layout in udisc doesn't conform to the pars shown in the picture for the tournament (for MA2, etc.). Will this be updated at some point? Either way, thanks for putting this on - should be a great couple of days (and will hope the rain holds off...).

The picture is outdated. That was the plan if the new baskets were not installed in time. UDisc is correct.

Sean Laurent   April 16, 2023 at 10:59am

Thanks!

Chris roseboom    April 15, 2023 at 1:54pm

Thanks, he’s very excited to play!

Just want to confirm, is MPO playing the longest layout on each hole? Not sure what the terminology is.

Andy Klinger   April 15, 2023 at 2:05am

Yes

Travis Dombach   April 15, 2023 at 1:38pm

Are the flags in the left side of 6 (next to the hill) OB?

Andy Klinger   April 15, 2023 at 7:40pm

Yes, left of flags OB

Andy Klinger    April 15, 2023 at 1:47am

MPO, MP40, and MA1 will be playing the Tournament Gold Layout, which is all Golds with 18 playing to the peninsula pin position (18P).

All other divisions will be playing the Tournament Blue Layout, which is all Blues (long to short) except for holes 8 and 18, which will be Whites (short to long). Hole 18W will be the blue basket in the woods (not the peninsula basket).

With the installation of the new baskets, what layouts will MA3 be playing? I will be there Wednesday to practice.

My son Matt is the only one currently on the waitlist. I was wondering if you have any pending cancellations that haven’t posted yet? Hoping he can get a spot

Andy Klinger   April 14, 2023 at 9:21pm

They post as soon as I can process them. Just so happens that a player just requested to withdraw this afternoon.

Micah Souder    April 10, 2023 at 7:38pm

When do we find out tee times?

Andy Klinger   April 10, 2023 at 9:46pm

After registration closes. Day 1 order will be MA3, MA40, FA2, MA50, MA2, MP40, MPO, FPO (subject to change). Within each division, cards will be determined by rating and lowest rated will tee earliest.

Andy Klinger   April 11, 2023 at 1:42am

MA1 after MA2.

Daniel Ragland   April 11, 2023 at 11:23am

Thank you for this information, definitely helps me coordinate with my wife’s FA2 tee time.

Tyler Grant    March 21, 2023 at 12:33am

My wife would like to join the wait-list for the Fa-2 division. What is the refund policy for the wait-list

Andy Klinger   March 24, 2023 at 11:07am

We won't host any division for a single competitor. Right now we have the minimum 4 competitors for FPO, but if enough men drop to promote that deep from the waitlist, it is possible that one or two females signed up for FPO would consider moviing down to FA1 or FA2. I will make an exception an ... more

Andy Klinger   March 28, 2023 at 9:16pm

My mistake! We do have an FA2 division.

Edith Huf    March 6, 2023 at 12:10pm

Id like to confirm that Fa1 is playing the same layout as fpo?

Andy Klinger   March 6, 2023 at 5:11pm

If you are promoted from the waitlist, you would likely have to change your division to either FPO, FA2, or a mixed division you qualify for. FPO will likely be playing a mixed layout, the same as FA2, MA2, MA3. This is still subject to change as the second set of baskets are getting installed soon. FPO will likely not be playing all Gold with Peninsula 18G.

Edith Huf   March 13, 2023 at 2:12am

Thank you for the info.

Justin McFadden    February 26, 2023 at 11:59am

Never played in a 2 day tier event before. How does it all work? What would I expect?

Andy Klinger   February 26, 2023 at 1:33pm

You will be assigned a tee time for each round. You have to show up in plenty of time to check in and warm up. Be ready to start 15 minutes ahead of your tee time. You don't have to stay when your round is over, but you do want to come back after the last card of round 2 if you are in contention for payout. We encourage everyone to come back and spectators the Pro rounds.

What are food options for the tournament?

Andy Klinger   February 26, 2023 at 3:23pm

Beaver Valley Country Store and Airy Dale Farm Market are great and support disc golf. Rayudas Restaurant is popular and there's a pizza place.
