All players on the waitlist have been refunded in full per our initially posted schedule. Any refund requests from here on out will be facilitated by providing the player with a full player package. If the player needs to have the player package shipped, there will be a nominal fee of $10 charged in addition to have the package shipped.


No additional players will be added to the event registration after this point.

We are getting so close to the event I can almost taste it! I know because my entire house is now filled with these awesome player packages for you all.

I wanted to take a second to announce some changes to our player experience schedule for the event.

Removal of Card Winner and Hot Round Prizes

After careful consideration, we have decided to remove these prizes from our events moving forward. Based on our calculations, these prizes only have a 19% collection rate from the players who have earned them, resulting in a lot of waste in not only product, but funds that can be used to enhance player experience in other areas.

Friday Early Check in / Flex Start

On Friday, February 18th from 8:00am - 4:00pm we will be hosting an early check in and a flex start at Maximo Park. Come out and grab your player package, get first dibs on the amazing Discraft Discs we have available for your player package, and get another rated round by participating in the Flex Start hosted by Tyler Searle and Latitude 64.

Friday Player Party and Putting Competition

Come out to Mellow Mushroom in Clearwater, Florida (2630 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33759) for the first of two player parties and our annual putting competition. Bring two putters for the chance to join Vincent Chaiaramonte and Daniel Pastore Junior as forever immortalized as GCCO Putting Champions. Event staff will be on site for questions starting at 630pm and the putting contest will start at 7pm and will conclude at 9pm.

Saturday Player Party / Fly Mart/ Annual Awards

We have finally confirmed our first ever Saturday Player Party, Fly Mart and Annual Awards.
Come out to Rapp Brewing (10930 Endeavor Way, Seminole, FL 33777) Between 7pm and 10pm for what I am told is some of the best beer in the Tampa area, shop around our fly mart with a few local vendors and witness the first ever GCCO Annual Awards. The fly mart will feature local vendors and will also give players the ability to purchase excess product for this year's GCCO (Jackets, Jerseys, Discs etc). Additionally, we will be announcing our volunteer of the year award as well as awarding trophies for our Gulf Coast Tour Challenge Champions.

There will be a wood fire pizza truck on site, or you are welcome to bring your own food or uber eats to the brewery.

Update on Picnic Island Park:

Recently the city installed a brand new set of second (blue) baskets that are permanently installed in the C position on each hole.

This does not change anyone's layouts for this event. Please follow the projected layout document found in the 'Pictures' section of this registration page. We will be covering all baskets not used for the event a week before the tournament.

Event registration will close on 2/4/2022

All drop requests prior to 2/4/2022 will be given 100% refund.

All drop requests between 2/4/2022 and 2/11/2022 will be given a cash refund and will be given the opportunity to purchase any customized portion of the player package ONLY if they can be backfilled from the waitlist.

All players on the waitlist will be refunded in full on 2/11/2022.

All drop requests on or after 2/11/2022 will be given their player package. Players will be responsible for either arranging pickup, or paying for shipping of their player package.

January 11th PDGA Ratings update has arrived and there are no changes being made to the active registration list; All players are rated in the divisions for which they registered as of today.

The next ratings update in February will have no basis on our event and any player who rates out of a division will be permitted to remain in that division based on PDGA guidelines.

Open spots in each pool will be released to the waitlist today.

Any first place tie will result in a sudden death playoff that will be played indefinitely until the tie is resolved.

All other ties for trophy positions will result in a sudden death playoff that will be played on holes 1,2 and 3 of the respective courses. Should this not resolve the tie, CTP on hole 3 will be used to determine who is awarded the trophy.

Per PDGA guidelines, we will be using the PDGA Ratings Update published on January 11th to determine division eligibility. At this time, any adjustments to players division and pool will be made on this day and notification will be sent via email to any impacted players. This will also allow any additional spots that are open to allow for these changes will be released to the waitlist.

From the PDGA:

If you have pre-registered, the TD may allow you to remain in that division as long as the event is within two weeks of the ratings posting date. If you did not pre-register before the new ratings were posted, then you are expected to play in the division (or higher) where your new rating now resides.

The February PDGA Ratings Update will be published on February 8th, which is within 2 weeks of the ratings posting date.
