Interesting idea to schedule a tournament the day before this one starts... on the same course. I'd imagine most people in the field were looking to get in some good reps and practice on Thursday... and for a number of players, such as myself, it's the only day we were going to have an opportunity to see the course. SOL, I guess????

Since its a flex start that is only 11-4 I doubt there will be so many people, on a Thursday, that you cant get a practice round done.

This is common practice for people to play a competitive round prior to the real deal.

Per the PDGA: Player eligibility is determined by the Medical Committee and is recorded by our privacy officer in non-public sections of our database. TDs need only to consult the Players tab on Tournament Manager to determine a player's eligibility. If there are no alerts, the player should be considered eligible. Sully Mike Sullivan #68783
