Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! The event is full, and we are thankful for your support. The following will constitute our official players' meeting. I will ask everyone to sign a waiver when you check in tomorrow. Check-in will start at 11:00 and will wrap around 11:45.
Three Disc Challenge Player’s Meeting
Thank you for supporting Luke Taylor in his 2026 season on the Disc Golf Pro Tour! We appreciate your support and are thankful for such a great disc golf community.
The course is in much better shape than it was a week ago thanks to our fantastic parks department. Please be aware that due to the amount of precipitation and melt there are icy spots on the course and exercise caution.
The official scorecard is paper for today’s event. Paper scorecards with player names will be provided. These will be given to the player listed at the top of the scorecard at check-in. It is strongly recommended that someone on your card keep a Udisc scorecard to check the paper scorecard, but we will use the paper scorecard for our official results. All cardmates should initial the scorecard when they turn it in to signify that they agree the score is correct.
Rules:
This is an unsanctioned event but please be courteous and follow PDGA rules as much as possible. Some basic reminders:
You may only use 3 discs for the round. Show the three discs you will be using to your cardmates before you begin play and limit all of your throws and putts to those three discs only.
We have all ages playing today and would ask that you be especially aware of language and actions around our juniors.
Please play from behind your lie; flipping a disc is okay or use a marker but make sure the lie is marked and that you play from directly behind it.
You may move any obstacle that is dead or detached. You may not break any attached brush to improve your angle for a throw.
Do not step through or jump through on putts within the circle (10 m / 33’). The circles are not marked so ask your cardmates to confirm whether they agree with you being out of the circle before you jump or step through a putt if you think the distance is questionable.
We will not play any OB today except for if your disc is completely surrounded by water on hole 14. If you do throw it into the water on hole 14, play from where you were last inbounds with a meter relief.
The course:
We are playing 19 holes for this event. They are all short teepads but there is some overlap between the Deerfield and Wildwood courses. There is a layout on UDisc for the Team Taylor Three Disc Challenge if you would like to pull up a course map. There will be a sign on the course and flags showing the walk from DF 3 to DF 6 as well as directions from DF 9 to WW6. From WW5, follow the path from the basket straight and then turn left to find DF 10. The DF baskets all have yellow bands on top.
Layout: DF 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, WW 6, 7, 5, DF 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
CTPs:
Everyone has the chance to win the free CTPs that are on the course. DF17 is the Ace Pool CTP (if no aces are hit, then this CTP pays the Ace Pool). Larger divisions and juniors have multiple CTPs.
MPO CTP - DF 18 MA55+ CTPs - WW5 and DF12 RAE CTPs - WW7 and DF 16
FPO CTP - DF 9 MJ 18 CTPs - WW6 and DF 15 ACE POOL CTP - DF17
FA1 CTP - DF 8 RAH CTPs - WW7 and DF 14
Discs for sale:
Following the event we will have discs for sale. They will be $10 a piece and Luke will autograph any discs that you would like signed. We accept cash, PayPal or Venmo.
