About this tournament
1 round of play
DATE CHANGE FROM DECEMBER 31, 2025 to JANUARY 10, 2026 DUE TO DANGEROUS CONDITIONS IN DEERFIELD PARK.
Let's start the year out right! Unsanctioned, PayPal payouts, player's pack discs, and CTP prizes.
This is a three-disc challenge event: all players are limited to only three discs of their choice. You choose three discs from your bag to play with and must throw only those three discs for the round.
This is an unsanctioned event, so you do not need to be a PDGA member to play. Invite your friends who play casually to come give this fun tournament a try!
Juniors under 18 may enter at a discounted rate so bring the kids!
Divisions:
MPO, FPO and MP40 are offered to players who are classified as professionals by the PDGA. $10 of the registration fee will go towards the fundraiser with $15 going towards the payouts for the division. Payouts will be via PayPal to the top 40% of each division.
RAH (players rated between 900 and 970) and RAE (players rated below 900) are offered in order to create the largest possible divisions for payouts. The layout we are playing is short enough that players with a fairly large rating spread will be competitive. If you do not have a current PDGA rating or are a newer player, RAE is the recommended division. $10 of the registration fee covers the player's pack disc and $10 of the fee will go towards payouts, Payouts will be either via PayPal, or the player can choose to use their payout money towards additional discs while disc supplies last. Payouts will be the top 40% of the division.
MA55+ is offered for master's amateurs and FA1 is offered as a division to all female amateurs. $10 of the registration fee covers the player's pack disc and $10 of the fee will go towards payouts, Payouts will be either via PayPal, or the player can choose to use their payout money towards additional discs while disc supplies last. Payouts will be the top 40% of the division.
MJ18 and FJ18 are offered for amateurs 18 and below. Payouts for the junior division will be slightly smaller because of the reduced entry fee. All junior players will receive a disc in their player's pack as well. Payouts will be the top 40% of the division. Junior payouts will be in cash or discs rather than PayPal. There will be several CTP holes for the junior divisions.
This will be a short layout with many ace-able holes. We will play shorts on Deerfield 1-3,6-9, short Wildwood 6,7,5 and then short Deerfield 10-18 for a 19-hole layout. There will be no OBs. You may sign up for the 50/50 ace pool for $4 (optional). $2 will go into the ace pot and $2 will go towards the fundraiser. If no aces are hit, the ace pool/CTP hole will be Deerfield 17.
RAH, RAE, MA55+, FA1, MJ18 and FJ18 division players will receive a Luke Taylor fundraiser disc or Discraft mold for the player's pack. We will also have Luke Taylor discs, trading cards and Discraft molds for sale at discounted rates. All money raised will go to support Luke's 2025 season on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. There will be FREE CTP disc prizes on many holes. All divisions will have at least one CTP hole.
