We're off and running for championship Sunday of the 2023 Syracuse Open Sponsored By The Pies Guys! The projected payouts have been published: https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/manager/payouts_projected?TournID=66802.

Anyone who parks in the top lot, please move your car down to the access road or the bottom lot after your round. This will help leave space available for those teeing off later in the day.

Amateur winners and cashers should see me at tournament HQ (the lodge that the access road on 16's tee leads to) after their division completes play for the day. I'll be handing out trophies and writing up vouchers to be used at Rapid Rivers Disc Golf, which will be set up near the top lot.

Sunday tee times for the final round at Van Buren have been posted. I’ll be set up at the lodge starting at 7:30 a.m.

Players do not need to come see me but should plan on arriving at the park at least 15 minutes before their tee time to park and get to Hole 1.

Parking available in the top lot, on the access road going to the lodge and in the bottom lot.

Come on out to Clay Park tomorrow for early check-in for The Syracuse Open as well as $10 flex-start singles on a mixed layout. You don’t need to be playing the tournament to get in on singles, but it’s a great chance to practice nine holes on West (6-14) and nine holes on East (10-18) in a competitive setting. I’ll be set up on the Wetzel Road side of the park.

There will be A, B, C and Women/Junior divisions. All cash payout unless an ace is hit, in which case 30% of the the total purse will serve as the ace pot. Live scoring on UDisc (same as WNL). Just click ‘Create scorecard’ then ‘Clay Park’ and ‘Clay Mix 1.’ You should see the event pop up at that time point.

After your round, be sure to head to Jake Hafner’s Restaurant & Tavern for dinner and drinks! Hafner’s is a tournament sponsor for The Syracuse Open located just a few minutes down the road.

Those checking in early for the tournament can pick up players packs, buy into the ace pot ($1500!) and purchase raffle tickets. I’ll also have SO fundraiser discs for sale.
