Are the divisions final?

Cody Winget   April 24, 2021 at 2:21am

If someone drops last minute, they are pretty set

Kevin Sines    April 23, 2021 at 3:35pm

Cody, for clarification on hole 1 being in C now, is that the new position that was just created this year deeper back on the path to 2's tee?

Cody Winget   April 24, 2021 at 2:21am

It's the deep new pin

Cody Winget   April 21, 2021 at 4:09pm

Sorry to be a bother Cody, any idea when pins will be in tournament positions?

Cody Winget   April 21, 2021 at 1:22pm

Pins are set, as you already know :)

Jared Fechter   April 21, 2021 at 5:09pm

Awesome, Could you also melt the snow please so I don't have it for the practice round haha

Ben Berry    April 15, 2021 at 4:09pm

I’m sort of new to the waitlist feature. I can see I’m #9 on the MA3 waitlist but my name is also in the MA3 division on the main page. Should I just plan to come to the tournament and see if I’m able to play?

Jared Fechter   April 16, 2021 at 3:56am

I would not do that unless you live close because being that far down it's not likely that many people drop before the event when it is this close. However I would keep an eye on the waitlist because you never know.

Cody Winget   April 16, 2021 at 5:43pm

Hey Ben, I wont be accepting any walk-ups day of if a spot were to open up. There is a slight chance that you get off the waitlist, but i wouldnt count on it.

David Morris    April 14, 2021 at 5:58pm

Just wanted to check to be sure, but the course will be open everyday before the event for practice rounds, right? Barring the

no issues with that, course will be open before the event

Molly Moore    April 14, 2021 at 2:03pm

Hi Cody, I signed up for FPO because all the spots in the amateur division were filled (back when there were only 4 spots available). I see there's now an FA1 division that's been added but understand there are not additional spots. Assuming FA1 is playing from the white tees, would I be able to play FA1 instead of FPO if someone drops? Do I need to be on a waitlist for this to happen?

Robin decided to move to MA3 to compete there. Sorry Ladies

Eleen Alfonso   April 20, 2021 at 12:01am

Not a problem, thanks Cody!

Molly Moore   April 20, 2021 at 3:40am

Thanks Cody!

Two questions:

1 - Will this be a 21 hole event, with 8A, 17A, 17B added? If so, any idea if/when they will be in place for practice?

2 - Can you map the Divisions to the Tee Assignments? Masters=MP40+ and Advanced Masters=MA40+? I would think MP is the one playing from Blues. Does Advanced Grandmasters map to something?

Hi Rich, This will be a 21 hole event, since these are temp holes the baskets will not be in place until the day before. You are able to go and play to the anchor though as i have marked the tee pads with flags. All of the tee assignments are in the description for the tournament on the main page.

Cody Winget    April 5, 2021 at 12:36pm

Our awesome DL course promoter crew added 3 brand new anchors in the ground for 3 temp holes/ possible future permanent holes. I have added the drawings of the holes to the tournament page.

Hi Cody. I'm the fourth waitlist in the novice division, but #24 overall. is it safe to assume that I wont get in?

Cody Winget   March 16, 2021 at 5:02pm

I wouldnt say that its safe to assume that. Typically the week before an event i can see 20-30 drops. I am also filling the waitlist based off teepad need, so that means you will be playing red tees for the tournament, so if a spot is availble for that tee pad i will take the next available number.

Josh Linton   March 23, 2021 at 2:23pm

got it, thanks for the response

Hello! Will caddies be allowed for the event? And will it be open to spectators (following covid guidelines, masks, social distancing, etc.)?

Cody Winget   February 25, 2021 at 5:06pm

no issues with me.

Dominic Perella    February 7, 2021 at 2:27pm

How does the wait list work exactly? Im #10 overall, but the first one in my division.

Cody Winget   February 8, 2021 at 12:36pm

I will be adding players based off of keeping the tee assignments balanced so we dont have fivesome's

Greg Hamilton    February 2, 2021 at 1:07am

Not sure why, but it charged me as if I'm not a PDGA member. It was good until end of the month, then I renewed and still got the charge. If you can refund that, I'd appreciate it. My pdga # is 100448.

Had that happen back in February. I think it's because if your membership runs out by the start of the tournament date it makes it like you're not a member...Seems like a way to keep people from signing up for events at the beginning of the year and then not renewing it before the event... ... more

Greg Hamilton   February 2, 2021 at 1:43am

Gotcha thanks all!

Cody Winget   February 2, 2021 at 4:23am

Like mentioned above, if your PDGA membership isn't current for the tournament is it will charge you the pdga fee. Once you renew your membership, please private message me and we can square up!
