We have super strange times and we are being watched. Please please follow the rules of play on Sunday.
Do not come if you are sick or have been around someone sick in the last 14 days.
Absolutely NO extra people. NOBODY. No kids. no girl friends. no buddies. no caddies. nobody.
We have tee times to keep people apart. Do not show up early and do not be late. Do not let people see you guys in groups. Stay away from each other.
No sharing, no touching each other.
If any of the safety precautions are not kept, they will pull the course. We do not want to be that guy. We can do this.

I am diligently loading the shindig discs from this year online to bluedogdiscgolf.com. I am about 40% done. You guys are playing the shamrock shindig VIII. (8) You can pick any Shamrock disc from any year. VERY EXCITING. This is this years models are:
DX Zephyrs
Pro Destroyers
Champion Caiman, Fire Storms & Thunderbirds
Star Teebirds
Shimmer Star Colossus, Rhyno , Teebird, & Thunderbirds

I will announce when all of this years discs are listed. (I have 123 discs to photograph and list) You can search the blue dog website by shamrock shindig and all the prior and current discs should pull up. Shop, pick your disc, go through the payment process and pick COD for your delivery choice. You get one free shindig disc with your registration. Provide me with your address and cell number. I would not be surprised if I can get most discs delivered before June 21st..

You must be registered for the tournament by Thursday June 18th at noon. No one will be let into the tournament after that. No exceptions. Tee times will be ready by Friday Night at 9pm.
If you are sick or have been near someone sick, stay home. Please.
Everybody gets a custom stamped disc and will pre-pick online via Bluedogdiscgolf.com. If you don't choose, I choose for you. They will be waiting for you at your tee.
Player meeting will be Saturday Night at 9pm via facebook.
You will show up at your tee time and play with 2 or 3 other people. Social distance. Don't share. If you feel the need to wear a mask do it. If you want people on your card to wear masks, let me know and I will try to accommodate.
Play round one. Everyone signs the card and as a group sends me a picture of the scorecard. One picture with witnesses.

Payout will be done offsite later. Scores will be displayed on disc golf scene. Open players will get cash paypaled and Am's will shop bluedogdiscgolf.com for theirs.
Don't touch other peoples stuff. Don't touch other people. Don't share. Wash your hands. No high fives, hand shakes or hugs. Unless you get the ok first. Don't come if your sick. Basically be nice. Some people are really freaked out and we just all want to play.
Anyone who shows up sick or tortures someone else for their opinions or takes advantage of these strange times for their own personal gain will be shunned from FNL and all Blue Dog sponsored events for 10 years.
Lets have fun and competition and feel good about it!
I am personally adding $100 cash to the pro purse and Blue Dog Disc Golf will add 20% to the Amateurs pay out. All divisions.

Hello Everybody. We have had so many changes thrown at us as human beings in the last week or so that I didn't think it that important to reach out until I felt we had a direction or time frame to work with. First and foremost I want to thank you for your interest and support of our event. This is the 8th year for the Shindig and we will not cancel. We are rescheduling it for June 21st, 2020 at the Ridge. I intend to put the entire event on with the disc swap. Obviously, there is a lot here out of our control and people might need the player registration back or they might already know they cant play on the 21st. We all registered using Disc Golf Scene and if I refund your money you lose out on the fees. If you pre ordered a shirt, you will still get your FNL evolution stamp Carolina blue all cotton Tee. (Tony got a pink one.) Here are your options.

1) Let it ride. You are now registered for the Shindig's alternate date.
2) Accept credit at the Blue Dog Disc Golf website for the amount you paid to register for the event. Blue Dog with eat your fees as long as your shopping.
3) Receive your cash back via Discgolf scene and lose your fees.


We are doing this because the PDGA, County, state, and federal governments told us too. I suggest not playing with more than 1 or 2 people at any time and staying in your yard alone if possible. I personally have had injuries and illness that has kept me off the course for many many months and I did not die from it or forget how to play. Be safe. Keep each other safe.
