Hello Everybody. We have had so many changes thrown at us as human beings in the last week or so that I didn't think it that important to reach out until I felt we had a direction or time frame to work with. First and foremost I want to thank you for your interest and support of our event. This is the 8th year for the Shindig and we will not cancel. We are rescheduling it for June 21st, 2020 at the Ridge. I intend to put the entire event on with the disc swap. Obviously, there is a lot here out of our control and people might need the player registration back or they might already know they cant play on the 21st. We all registered using Disc Golf Scene and if I refund your money you lose out on the fees. If you pre ordered a shirt, you will still get your FNL evolution stamp Carolina blue all cotton Tee. (Tony got a pink one.) Here are your options.
1) Let it ride. You are now registered for the Shindig's alternate date.
2) Accept credit at the Blue Dog Disc Golf website for the amount you paid to register for the event. Blue Dog with eat your fees as long as your shopping.
3) Receive your cash back via Discgolf scene and lose your fees.
We are doing this because the PDGA, County, state, and federal governments told us too. I suggest not playing with more than 1 or 2 people at any time and staying in your yard alone if possible. I personally have had injuries and illness that has kept me off the course for many many months and I did not die from it or forget how to play. Be safe. Keep each other safe. Let me know what each of you wants be to do for you and god bless. Throw far. Sheri J
