Player information for Seth's Fourth Annual Memorial Throwdown !

Directions and parking:

2145 Co Rd 86, Victor, CO 80860

Please use the new road into the course. You will see signs for Alta Vista Disc Golf Ranch . Please follow the signs to parking. Someone will be in the parking area directing you where to go. SPEED LIMIT is 5MPH PLEASE ABIDE BY THAT!

Schedule:

Friday the 9th

5$ random doubles - 1 round of 18 holes

Check in at 330 - Starting at 4pm - payout will go to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the doubles round. Non-Sanctioned so feel free to have a beer during your round.

Saturday the 10th

2 rounds of 18 holes with a lunch break in between rounds

8:30am - 6:00pm
1st round : Check in at 8:30 a.m
Players meeting at 9a.m
Tee off at 9:30a.m.

2nd round: Start time will be determined by us once cards begin to be turned in. It will be thoroughly announced, and all players will be given plenty of time for a lunch break.

Raffle, games and awards once all score cards from both rounds have been turned in

Course Conditions:

Please prepare for all types of weather due to the area the course is in. Rain and hail are a possibility. We will call a lighting delay if needed. Also, please remember this is mountain terrain so dress appropriately including footwear.

Food and Drinks :

Grey Wolf will be providing a lunch that includes : bbq pork, potato salad and beans for 10$ per plate. Please bring a lunch if this is not something you will eat because the drive to get lunch will take your entire break time between rounds. We will be providing water on the course, but please bring a water bottle to refill

Raffle and games:

We will be having a raffle and some games during the day and after both rounds are completed. Please bring extra cash for that. Raffle tickets are 1 ticket for 3$, 5 tickets for 10$, 12 tickets 20$. The game we will have will be ring toss. It will cost 25 cents per ring. We will also be hosting a ring of fire while scores are being tallied.

Payouts :

All players will be receiving trophy's up to 3rd place in their division. All amateurs and pros will be receiving player packs.

Pro player payout: Including 300$ added cash!

MPO - 1st - 310$
2nd - 195$
3rd - 145$
4th - 100$

FPO - 1st - 75$

MP40 - 1st - 230$
2nd - 145$
3rd - 105$

Scoring :

We will be using paper scorecards due to the lack of cellphone service while at the course. All players are to score during the round. Please pass the scorecard to the next player on your card every 4-5 holes. Scorecard needs to be turned in within 15 min of finishing your round. Please ensure you have double checked your math before turning your card in to prevent being penalized for incorrect scoring.

New players:

There are alot of new tournament players for this event. Please be helpful to them and less critical about them not knowing the rules. Explain them to the players so they are informed. We will also have some basic tournament rules announced at the players meeting.

Camping :

There are plenty of camping spots available. Please prepare for it to be first come first serve as of location on the course. Bring your own food and drinks to supply your needs. There will be a out house available for use.

Spectators/ Caddy's:

Spectators and caddy's are welcomed but please ensure the follow the tournament rules otherwise you could be penalized for them acting incorrectly.

Staff :

Staff members will be wearing t shirts that have staff on the back please feel free to ask them if you have any questions.

Please remember this is a sanctioned event so all tournament rules are in play. Including you are to not be under the influence during the rounds and no smoking!

Is there still camping available? We're renting a camper van, so we don't need tent/hammock spots if that helps. Also, I wanted to ask about dogs. My wife is coming, and will be with the dogs during the tournament; I don't have any plans on bringing the dogs on the rounds during the tournament, but I did want to be clear about having them if that nixes being able to camp onsite. Looking forward to next week!

Hello everyone,

I can't wait to see you all next weekend!!!!!

I will be hosting a 5$ random doubles round at Alta Vista Disc Golf Ranch on Friday the 9th before Seth's Fourth Annual Memorial Throwdown on the 10th.

All proceeds will go back to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the doubles round!

The check-in for the random doubles will start at 4pm on the 9th. Hoping to see a bunch of you then!

Also, Dan Parten will be hosting a fun round/side bet round at Etter's SKOL Ranch on Sunday the 11th at 11am for all those still wanting to enjoy the mountains after Seth's Fourth Annual Memorial Throwdown on Saturday!
