If you are not going to make the event tomorrow, you can pick up your player pack after 8am. If someone is grabbing it for you, they can get it after their round. Please let me know if you intend not to play, so I can make arrangements in the player field.

Check-in starts at 8am by hole #1. When you have your group (3's or 4's only), you can come and get your scorecard and begin play. The field is open to test your discs out before you start your round.

NOTE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS:
If you are not going to be able to play, please let me know this week. I am bringing 150 drivers, 150 midranges, 150 putters, 150 towels, 150 mini markers out to the course on Saturday morning. Those who do not show up to play will have to make arrangements with me to pick up the player pack.
I do have 1, possibly 2 openings that will be $60 day of. These will be first come, first taken. No reserves and no holding. If you can't make it, you may have someone else pick your player pack up after 12pm.

I see there was mention of no groups larger than 4, is that just in regards to active players?
Are we allowed to have scorekeepers?

Roger Vartabedian   July 18 at 6:09pm

I am keeping all groups of players at 3 or 4. You can keep your own score, someone doesn't have to do it for you. If you so choose, you can have people walk with you, but they are to adhere to courtesy and etiquette.

Are all discs the same weight or is there different weights

Roger Vartabedian   July 18 at 3:01pm

I have not opened the boxes fully yet. I have seen some light (169-169) and some heavier drivers. The mids and the putters I have no idea. When you check in, I will try and have them separated by weight, but not guaranteed. I will probably be doing it by color to make it easier.

RAFFLE ITEMS:
Socks, dirt bags, towels, t-shirts, lady tank tops, discs, retrievers, Westside Refuge bag, Handeye Supply Company Civilian bag, more discs, and a BASKET!

Roger Vartabedian    July 12 at 9:58pm

Player packs shipped today, along with the basket that someone will take home! Be sure you bring extra cash for raffle tickets. Each player gets 1 ticket for the basket, but you can purchase more for the basket and other items that will be placed in the raffle.
It is also a pyrohyzer ace weekend. If you have a pyrohyzer tag, bring it and you can enter to try for the national ace pot. We had one last year, so maybe another this year!

I looked but don’t see what disc we are getting. Is it posted somewhere?

Saint, tursas, agent

Roger Vartabedian    June 13 at 4:34pm

Final update to the maximum number of players has been made. This will not go beyond 150 players. So, if you have people that want to register, now is the time.

Cap increased from 120 / 135. Those who were on the waitlist are now promoted to active and will need to pay for their spot using the email link that was sent on 6/9/2022

I realize this but there is nothing saying that players will be added as they join the wait list. I happened to look at the comments and saw it there. Had I not looked into it I would not have joined the wait list. Many people are not going to dig into the comments to get this information.

Roger Vartabedian   June 9 at 10:14pm

It has now been opened to 135 players and that will be the max, no more will be added.

Randy Pace   June 10 at 2:00am

Hey Roger. Im signed up now, thank u. But somehow also got added to waitlist again. Just fyi.

James Pavlichek    May 23 at 2:49am

This may sound like a silly question, but on tournament day, will players be allowed to get some throws with the discs in the field before teeing off?

Roger Vartabedian   May 23 at 3:32am

Yes

Douglas Price    May 11 at 12:03am

What 3 discs are being used?

Steven Jones    May 8 at 2:49am

Can you show up as a 2 sum? Will there be singles or other 2 sums to pair up with?

Roger Vartabedian   May 8 at 3:20am

Should be, but I can’t promise when that will happen

Richard Y    May 3 at 5:06pm

Hi Roger- are there specific tee times for the event?

Roger Vartabedian   May 3 at 6:17pm

As stated in the schedule: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, check in and play. Tee times was a fail last year, so I am allowing people to come and play at their leisure. Groups of 4 only, nothing less, nothing more.

Richard Y   May 3 at 6:54pm

Gotcha! Thanks for the clarification.
