I was out setting up tonight at the course and Ben Svetkoff and Geoff Penton have been out working hard preparing everything... lots of flags out there! Big thanks to them!

You may have got emails from the Larrimac booking system, please ignore those.

Good morning everyone!

We have the tee-times posted up on the uDisc website:
https://udisc.com/events/2021-plaid-jacket-championship-YE2R?tab=scores

Juniors tee off at: 10:20am.  We will give them Paper and Pencil scorecards.

Since we can't do a shotgun start, we have tee times.  It's not ideal with these short days.  Thanks for your understanding.

Additionally, if you already have the uDisc app, you should see it on your home screen of that app.  ... more

Are the fairways a hazard for all divisions ? I found the picture from last year that describes OB's hazards etc... is it still relevant ?

No, that is only for the Plaid Jacket Open division which plays from the Gold tees. Your division will play from the Blue Tees with standard OB and Hazards (sand traps). A Caddy Book will be sent out soon that explains everything.

Thanks Don, we are heading out for a practice round this afternoon !!

Don Lane    September 23, 2021 at 7:16pm

Just as a general question, if you throw left-handed please reach out to me so that I can match you up on your card with at least one other leftie. I currently have the following registered players identified: R. McGrath, D. McDonald, E. Scott, and A. Colford. Thanks!

Is it going to be possible to get a round in on the modified course, or will we know the planned OBs and hazards in time to imagine them? Or is adapting to those things part of the Plaid Jacket Challenge :) ?

looking forward to Oct 3rd!

Don Lane   September 23, 2021 at 1:42am

Hey Adam! In the Plaid Jacket Open (PJO) division the ball golf fairways will play as hazards for both rounds (except on Hole 16). Hole 11 will be an island. And there will be a new hole between 16 and 17. So, for the most part, the course is as it is set up now.

Thanks Don!
