Hi everyone! Final announcement before Sunday!

For the tournament, Bristol Parks and Rec have asked us to follow current Covid guidelines i.e. maintaining social distancing and wearing masks where and when applicable. Thank you for understanding!

If you are on a hole that has a CTP, the first person on the card to check in will receive a CTP flag to bring to their starting hole.

At the conclusion of your round, if you end on a hole that has a CTP Flag, please bring it back with you.

Tournament Central will be located at Hole 1. When checking in, please wear a mask. I will have a few people helping me out to speed things along. I will be showing up around 7:40am to set up and will be more than happy to get you through registration once set up.

This Trilogy Challenge will be based on the honor system in regards to who has signed up for the Cali and CTP options. Please be sure to mention what you signed up for with your cardmates so they are aware. (Also, if someone wins a CTP Prize that isn’t signed up with the option, I will default to the previous closest person, etc.)

Again, Hole 12 is cut from the tournament (the only hole that requires you to throw over water) and Hole 2 has been divided into Holes 2A and 2B. Please be sure to check the photos section to see your starting holes as well as the prize breakdowns. (Subject to change)

We will be using electronic scoring via UDisc so be sure to download the UDisc app. You will need to be able to check in. If something goes wrong (I.e.- app not working, etc.), let me know and we will remedy it.

Well, that was way more than 24 hours! Regardless, it’s time for more announcements!

1. It has been decided that to entirely remove the possibility of discs flying into the Beast, Hole 12 is cut from the tournament! However, there will be a Hole 2A and Hole 2B. Hole 2B will be the short tee to Hole 2’s regular basket. Hole 2A will begin on the long Hole 2 teepad and eventually curve left into the woods. I will create and upload a video with the approximate layout and location of 2A’s basket. Be on the lookout for a YouTube link.
2. Player Packs have been ordered and should arrive this Wednesday!
3. I have received most of the prizes and will release the CTP prize details and placement prizes next week.

Hi all! As promised, we have reached over 50 participants (don’t worry, our full capacity is 72), but as promised, it is time to reveal a few more exciting details!

If you haven’t signed up for the CTP Option, you’re certainly going to want to now! We will have 14 CTPs for this event! Holes 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17!! (Don’t worry, I’ll remind you the day of the event as well)

Also, I have speculated what to do about Hole 12 (in regards to the rare opportunity of throwing most, if not all, of your discs into the beast). So, for now, the drop zone will be the starting teepad, however, I am looking into another, far more interesting, option…so stay tuned for that possible change!

I am in the process of setting up electronic scoring via UDisc. Also, Hole Assignments will be announced between September 16-18 (possibly sooner when we reach 72 players).

If you are considering adding any of the additional options, here is a descriptive breakdown of each for encouragement (in the linguistic style of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign):

Ace Pot: You are a brave soul, and are destined for greatness upon attaining the most coveted achievement. Even if you fall, you know you have fought the good fight and will continue to forge your path ahead.
CTP: Greatness is not measured by Holes-In-One, but rather measured by the journey. Pinpoint accuracy is key, and those who succeed will be greatly rewarded.
Cali Option: Ah, a cunning individual. You are one who seeks improvement, gaining new knowledge of your tools with each additional throw. This is an especially effective skill when paired with Ace Pot or CTP.
