Welcome to Connecticut's only 2020 Trilogy Challenge! I am thrilled to be hosting this event in Bristol, CT at Page Park DGC. I am looking forward to a fun day of disc golf, getting a hold of some new plastic, and an overall good time! Special thank you to the Bristol Parks and Recreation department for your overwhelming support of putting this event together!
If you have never participated in a Trilogy Challenge before, you are in for a treat! Simply said, you will receive three discs and they are the only discs you can use for the entire tournament! The discs for this year's challenge are as follows:
Latitude 64 Opto or Gold SPZ 3 | Speed: 9 Glide: 6 Turn: -1 Fade: 2
Dynamic Discs Lucid or Fuzion Bounty | Speed: 4 Glide: 5 Turn: -1.5 Fade: 0.5
Westside Discs BT Hybrid Crown | Speed: 3 Glide: 4 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
If you want to get more out of your experience, there are more options available (for an additional cost) to participate in an Ace Race, CTP Challenges, and even buy yourself a 'Cali Option' advantage! Cali rules are as follows:
1. You get to re-throw one shot per hole, from the same lie, without penalty (drive, approach, or putt).
2. After you make your repeat throw, you may decide to keep your original shot, or your re-throw. You are NOT forced to keep the re-throw.
3. Due to the limited number of discs for this event, you are allowed to re-throw the same disc so long as you mark the original lie.
4. If you ACE on a re-thrown drive, the ace counts, both for your score and for winning the Ace Pot.
5. In a sudden death playoff, the Cali player continues to get one re-throw per hole.
6. In a "CTP" (Closest to Pin) playoff, the Cali player gets two throws.
And that's all! I am looking forward to hopefully packing out this event! If you have any questions, head on over to the comments section and ask away!
