Any chance Eric Zuelke and Ben Medlock can be on the same card for Round 1? Both are MA3.

Are the tournament layouts for the courses going to be their "main" layout shown in udisc?

Rob Martin   July 12, 2021 at 12:07pm

Forest Park has only one layout except for hole 16. Kanza Park will be using a modified layout for both pools.

Thanks!

Registration is active again.
The official reschedule date is Sunday, August 1, 2021.
If you want to remain registered, there is nothing you need to do.
If you need a refund please let me know. The preferred way would be through dgscene (not the comment section) via the Registered Players tab.

Looks like I am not going to make it. Was wondering if instead of a refund just moving my entry to the tournament in Atchison would be better for you?

Rob Martin   July 12, 2021 at 6:29pm

email sent

Rob Martin    May 25, 2021 at 8:54pm

The official reschedule date is Sunday, August 1. I am waiting on the PDGA to move the date and dgscene to unlock the registration and then I'll start accepting refund requests. Should only be one more day. Thank you for your patience.

Good evening,

I want to provide to you information as soon as I have it. I can tell you that Kanza Krush is officially being postponed. Flood stage for the Marais des Cygnes River will not drop to below flood levels until 3AM Saturday if no additional rain comes. Rain is in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday. Forest Park has may holes under water and Kanza Park has standing water in areas that pool. Any additional rain will not drain well. If we got a Thunderstorm on Saturday it ... more

I’d be game for tee times. I’ve already rented an air bnb for the tourney. ;:

Joshua Bernard   May 20, 2021 at 11:05pm

But I can understand both ways. :/

Wade Davis    May 17, 2021 at 4:11am

@joseph rosier Kanza indeed dries better. Forest park will be rough to play all week as we’ve gotten a ton of rain this weekend (people from the area are aware) and it appears it will rain all week. Kanza is easy to quit mid round too (like 4 spots play near starting spot) in case you're racing the weather or daylight. On Facebook, our group is Kanza disc golf club- if ya want to play a round with anyone, just post on there.

Hey Rob, it says we check in at our respective starting course. Who from the TD staff will be doing checkins at each course?

Rob Martin   May 16, 2021 at 10:14pm

Me, Rob Martin will be at Forest Park all day. Nathan Gillaspie will be at Kanza Park all day.

Joseph Rozier    May 16, 2021 at 5:16pm

Can anyone tell me what these courses are like after/during rain? Trying to go out and play one or both of them this week but don't really want to play in straight mud.

Rob Martin   May 16, 2021 at 7:51pm

Forest Park does have a drainage issue. There very well could be standing water. Kanza seems to drain better.

Joseph Rozier   May 16, 2021 at 11:46pm

Thanks for the info!

Jesse Carr   May 18, 2021 at 5:47pm

Kanza doesn't have tee pads, but has little concrete triangles you can land a plant foot on. Forest has nice tee pads/nice baskets, lets hope it's playable.

Jesse Carr    May 16, 2021 at 5:20am

Do I need to check in and if so, which park? I'm pool A starting at Kanza Park.

Rob Martin   May 16, 2021 at 1:57pm

You do need to check in so that the TD knows you have arrived. I'm working on an email to be sent to all players and will cross post it here under the Comments section.

Joshua Bernard    May 14, 2021 at 7:56pm

Did you all decided who is to start at what course yet? Pool A & B.

Thanks!

Rob Martin   May 14, 2021 at 9:15pm

Pool A will start at Kanza and end at Forest. Pool B will start at Forest and end at Kanza. More information will be dispensed after this weekend.

Thank you to Hans Coleman for sponsoring a couple of tee signs! Added cash to pro purse is now $250.

Anyway to add an mj10 division?

Rob Martin   March 9, 2021 at 12:51pm

There is a MJ15 division which covers 15 and under. As a reminder, per PDGA rule 1.13, "any player younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian regardless of the division they play in."

Michael Verdict   March 11, 2021 at 5:07am

no worries. i will find some other tournaments for him to play in that have his division. as a 9 year old he will not enjoy playing against kids who throw as far as an adult
