Disc Events are extremely excited to host this event for you during Easter in the Redwoods for Makaripi 2026. The Rotorua Lakes DGC have been hard at work getting the course in great shape for this year's event.

Round 1 - 8:30AM-12.30PM Shotgun Start
LUNCH BREAK - 30mins after round 1 completion
Round 2 - Start TBC watch PDGA APP Shotgun Start
Sunday the 5th of April 'THE FINAL ROUND'
Round 3 - 9:00AM Shotgun Start
Prizegiving - Prize giving to be held after the tournament co-ordinators have finalised results and held any playoffs required, expected start time for prize giving between 2 and 3pm,
Scoring: Scoring will be via the PDGA Live app. Access Code: vegasbaby

Event Parking: Please park responsibly.DO NOT USE TE NGAE SHOPPING CENTRE CAR PARK ! We had complaints last year !
Tournament HQ: Tournament HQ will be set up between Hole 1 and Hole 5 basket.This will be where Tournament staff will be based as well as the Vendor village.
Layouts:
MPO/MP40/MA1 - Long Layout x 3 rounds
FPO/FA1 - Long/ Short/ Short
MA2/MA40/MA50 - Long/ Short/ Long
MA3/FA2/FA3/FA40/FA50 - Short Layout x 3 rounds
Hole notes and distances will be in the PDGA scoring app during the round. The Layout follows the OG 18 hole layout and we have added 2 New holes in to cater for the player numbers between holes 14 and 15 that will be called holes 14A and 14B. follow the "next tee" signs or "the green flags" from 14's Basket to locate 14A.What's better than 1 tight tree tunnel? 2
We have a contingency plan for the wet holes, some teepads may be altered slightly please ensure you are teeing off from the correct pad "marked by gold (long) or blue (short) flags"
Amenities
A Portaloo Toilets and Drinking Water are available by Tournament HQ. We are not providing lunch for this event and recommend bringing your lunch with you as it will be a relatively short lunch break between rounds on the saturday. There are however shops close by if you are unable to do so.
