Left my black cameo DD umbrella in my round 1 cart. Anyone turn it in?

Justin Martineau   November 7, 2022 at 12:07am

Yes. I have it and it will be at the Nashville Disc Golf Store on Tuesday.

Justin Martineau    November 6, 2022 at 6:08pm

2nd round = 12:45

How does this work if I’m still on the waitlist and it looks like the tournament is filled?

So should I still show up Tomorrow or when will we find out?

Justin Martineau   November 5, 2022 at 9:42pm

I just promoted someone, so you are now 1st on the waitlist. If you don't get in tonight, you would have an outside chance of getting in tomorrow.

Justin Martineau   November 5, 2022 at 9:43pm

I can't really tell you what to do, as I have no control over someone dropping out of the tournament.

Justin Martineau    November 5, 2022 at 2:40pm

There were a couple errors in the First Caddy Book sent last night. An updated version is being sent out.

I’ll be at the course at 9 if anyone needs a partner for the practice round. Mine had to bail.

Also last question. I’ve got a friend who is wanting to caddy for me. Is that possible?

Michael Cocan   November 4, 2022 at 3:47pm

You can have a caddy but they'll need to follow you by foot most likely.

Daniel Goode    November 4, 2022 at 2:23am

When will hole layouts and caddy books be available to view? Also will the hole layouts/tees be any different than the years prior?

Justin Martineau   November 4, 2022 at 2:05pm

Hole Maps are being uploaded to the Pictures section right now, some with minor changes.

Justin Martineau   November 4, 2022 at 2:06pm

Caddy Book will be posted in the Pictures section this morning and emailed out in a PDF tonight.

Matthew Loos    November 3, 2022 at 9:52pm

Any chance more spots will be opened to have 5 per card for the ppl on the waitlist?

This tournament is hard capped at 4/card because of golf cart usage. 2/cart = 4/card.

Matthew Loos   November 4, 2022 at 12:22am

Do they have more than 38 carts? I’d pay for my own if it’s an option

Justin Martineau   November 5, 2022 at 7:25am

I'm sorry, but our golf course tournaments are always limited to 4 per card.

Jacob Morgan    November 2, 2022 at 10:39pm

Kind of a random question. Is this Tournament watchable? By that I mean, are spectators able to see much? My wife was interested in coming to watch

Justin Martineau   November 4, 2022 at 12:00am

You are definitely welcome to spectate. I cannot guarantee that the Golf Course will rent you a cart, but you are more than welcome to watch the players play.

Tyler Buckley    November 2, 2022 at 2:25pm

I've never played a disc golf round with a golf cart, and it's been years since I played a round of ball golf. What size bag/cart can fit on the back of a cart?

Justin Mitchell   November 2, 2022 at 3:11pm

I have a larger prodigy bag and it fits. Ive played with carts before and theres generally something to hook your straps around to keep it from going anywhere.

How long is the practice round going until? I know it starts at 8 but we were thinking about showing up at 9.

Also we’ve got a group of 4 myself included. Would we all be able to practice together? Obviously not in the same cart.

Shawn Groton   October 31, 2022 at 9:50pm

Last group out 2:30 to finish your round. Carts ha to be in by 5:45. Shouldn’t be a problem to get 2 carts at 9

Michael Cocan    October 30, 2022 at 7:27pm

Do we need to schedule a tee time for practice on Saturday? Also saw something about needing 2 per cart, is there a way to see who needs a practice buddy, I don’t currently have one.

Mike Whitley   October 31, 2022 at 12:05am

I can be your 2nd. I don't have a cart buddy yet. I can play any time of the day.

Michael Cocan   October 31, 2022 at 12:43am

Awesome, shoot me a text 615-926-5975 and we’ll coordinate

Shawn Groton   October 31, 2022 at 2:30am

No Tee Time needed. Practice starts at 8

Joe Armstrong    October 28, 2022 at 3:58pm

Is there any chance more spots will be opened up for those on the waitlist?

Shawn Groton   October 28, 2022 at 8:41pm

Waitlist spots will be given if when registration closes, there are spots available

Justin Mitchell    October 12, 2022 at 5:02pm

Is there a practice time available?

$15 includes cart. Must be 2 to a cart

Mike Whitley   October 27, 2022 at 4:34pm

Can a single go for $30?

Shawn Groton   October 28, 2022 at 8:42pm

The course wants us to try our best to have 2 per cart as to not take up all their carts for regular golfers.

Kesley Sterner    October 7, 2022 at 6:23pm

What is the breakdown for entry costs? How much toward player pack, how much toward payout, and how much toward course fees and such?

Justin Martineau   October 7, 2022 at 7:32pm

$62 - Entry Fee | -$2 PDGA Sanctioning Fee -$20 Greens Fees/Cart Fee -$20 Player Pack Value | Leaves $20/player/division towards payout

Connor Mayne    October 5, 2022 at 9:38pm

Will there be a players pack for ams?

Justin Martineau   October 7, 2022 at 7:26pm

Yes, there will be a tournament stamped disc.

Justin Martineau   October 18, 2022 at 6:01pm

We weren't able to get a tournament stamped disc for this tournament. We will now be offering a big selection of Discraft Ledgestone Open discs for the players pack.

Jacob Morgan    October 1, 2022 at 1:19pm

Is there a course map or anything like that yet?

Keith Williams   October 3, 2022 at 2:16pm

You can check out the layouts for the last 3 tournaments. It doesn’t look like it has changed much. Here is a link to last year’s https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Long_Hollow_Open_2021_Ignited_by_Nashville_Disc_Golf_Store/pictures

Jacob Morgan   October 5, 2022 at 2:41am

Thanks, Keith!

Amber Stanek    September 11, 2022 at 11:39pm

Is Rec Women going to be an option?

Justin Martineau   September 17, 2022 at 5:32pm

I can open that division, but there are some tough water carry holes that are on this course.
