The par on the course ended up changing slightly after installation. The new par is 60 for the Lamb Tees(shorts) and a total of 5,045 feet. For the Lion Tees, the par went up to 65 and has a total of 7,460 feet. I will be out at the course all day Wednesday preparing for the doubles tournament Wednesday evening. We have been working hard getting the Wallace Farm Temp Course ready for Saturday's "Lion or Lamb Invitational" PDGA C-Tier! We want you to come out and enjoy the course to get you acquainted with a one round Random Doubles Tournament! $5 buy in, $5 ace pool. Wednesday 8-5-20, 5:30 registration, 6:00 start. 4992 Mrs. White Ln Mebane. Look for the Innova banner on Mrs Whites Ln, meet at Tournament Central! Everyone is welcome, even if you are not registered for the Lion or Lamb! We recommend bringing long pants, bug spray and water! All skill levels are welcome!

We will be sending out the player meeting video on Thursday. The course will be open Friday for everyone. Signed waivers are required for anyone wanting to play the temp course for Wednesday doubles, Friday practice or the PDGA event Saturday.

Hey folks! Bradley Dixon here getting you an update on the Lion or Lamb Invitational tournament! I have purchased Discover Disc Golf from Todd Hodge and with the purchase, I became the TD for the Lion or Lamb tournament. In the process of getting this tournament back rolling, I hit a roadblock with Alamance Parks, Cedarock Park due to restrictions on gatherings of 90 individuals such as our event. I did some digging and located a beautiful farm that we can safely hold the event for $500.00, only $50 more than what we were going to pay Alamance Parks. The venue is called Wallace Farm and it is in Mebane and features approximately 50 acres of beautiful pasture land surrounded by old growth timber. It will easily hold a 20 hole course with a long tee and a short tee for every hole. The short layout will be par 54 and the long layout will be par 60. All divisions will play one round from long and one round from short layouts. The tournament date is now August 8th. Disc Golf Scene has been updated to reflect this information. The temp course will be open Friday 8-7 for practice for you and your guests. All individuals who come on the property will need to sign a liability waiver. Ace Run is pleased to announce that The Lion or Lamb Invitiational is finally scheduled! The new date is 8-8-2020. After nearly FOUR months of waiting, we have decided to rent a large property in Mebane and build a TWENTY HOLE temporary course just for this event! There will be a set of short tees(Lamb Tees) and a set of long tees(Lion Tees) that will be played by every division. We want to make this event special for everyone since we know you are anxious to play. It is unfortunate that we are unable to play Cedarock and Wellspring, but according to Alamance Parks, there is no guarantee for anything right now. I hope you like playing new courses! The course will be set up for play on Friday 8-7-20 for all tournament players and their guests. A SIGNED WAIVER WILL BE REQUIRED TO COME ONTO THE PROPERTY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

Lion-Lamb update: Four days ago, I took this tournament over. I immediately reached out to Alamance Parks and NCPDGA. I heard back from both as of last night and here is what I am told. The projected date that we are working towards is August 8th. NCPDGA did confirm that the date was available last week. Burlington Parks also confirmed that the date is available but they will let me know later this week IF AND HOW we can proceed. It does seem that August 8th will work, but please wait until I have the confirmation to request a refund. As soon as Alamance Parks gives us the green light, I will immediately let you guys know. Keep hanging in there! You guys are troopers!

we are working on finding a date to reschedule this event. With the end of the stay at home being uncertain, it has been a challenge. The last thing we want to do is reschedule, then have to change the date again. We are waiting for a solid date before announcing officially. We do appreciate your patience as this is out of our hands. We want to play this weekend if we could!

Tentatively we are looking at a mid July date to reschedule, but again, that is very tentative. If you are unable to wait any longer on a rescheduling, or if late June to Early August range wont work, please feel free to request a refund through disc golf scene. We will process this asap. Paypal does not issue the refund, it is all done through discgolfscene.

In alignment with the PDGA’s recent decisions regarding PDGA events, Lion or Lamb Invitational will be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
DDG will work with the parks and recreation department to determine a new date for this event, but as of now, one has not been determined. We are very sorry to announce this news, but we truly appreciate your understanding.
If this news is cause to withdraw from the event, we completely understand. Your refund will be processed less the cost of the custom windbreaker jackets. We can save this for you, or we can have it shipped at the expense of the player. Please process all refund requests through DiscGolfScene.com

I seen below in this tournament posting that it was a different county that closed the parks. My dad said to stop being driven by fear, and be driven by seeking questions. So I researched the area's government websites, and have come to the conclusion that I am still seeking more questions, due to all the other mandatory obligations...... I am dreaming and hoping that we get to play this weekend-

I don’t wanna be that guy but , as each day goes more and more parks , schools etc are closing . As we approach the tournament can we get an assurance that it will not be cancelled or if it is we will be refunded minus the PayPal fees ? I’ve got 3 family members signed up and hate to lose 200$ ish for not withdrawing earlier enough .
