The value of the player pack and the banquet exceeded the Am entry fee and more than met A-Tier payout structure. Having a modest payout for the top 45% of the Ams was just a bonus beyond those standards. Hopefully we have even more players for next year's edition.

The course at the Bord du Lac course was set up today along with a Smart Layout on UDisc which mirrors the basic layout that we used there last year. The Smart Layout will likely be approved tomorrow but for purposes of moving around the course, the basic layout will do. It's worth noting that the Smart Layouts don't show the fairways accurately. They seem to show only start and ending points for a hole and not any curves or doglegs on the hole.

Andy and Samuel - some of the feedback I received last year from players was that even the Shorts at the new camp course was longer than many other "long" layouts at other courses in Quebec. That with there being two rounds that are held on Saturday will make it a rather full day, but I'll confer with my team about it and get back to you. Cool?

After walking the course today and making the Smart Layout I've changed the MA1s to the Long teepads (blue), while the MA40s, who struggled a bit last year on the long layout, will be playing Shorts (yellows) on the Camp Nominingue (Bord du Lac) course.

Directement de l'IPE: Toutes les heures de départ seront affichées quelques jours avant le tournoi, car les inscriptions sont encore ouvertes et de nouveaux joueurs s'inscrivent encore pour le tournoi. Les heures de départ du dimanche dépendront du terrain sur lequel les joueurs commenceront. Par exemple, ceux qui commenceront au terrain de golf commenceront plus tard que ceux qui commenceront à l'un ou l'autre des terrains de camp, car il faut attendre que le gel quitte le terrain délicat du terrain de golf. Les départs du dimanche sur les autres parcours commenceront tôt, probablement à 08h00 pour le premier quatuor de la journée. -Don-

Players can practice at any of the courses on Friday. I would only ask that they go out in groups and not solo and not to take too long at any hole so that the paying players in the Flex Start groups aren't negatively affected.
