I believe the circled numbers represent the basket locations that are in the "woods".

I found a different version of the map and replaced the image. The lines trace back to the teepads, which are the blue tees for the golf course. As much as I want to do this, we are already up against the wall regarding daylight, and adding fivesomes has the strong potential to throw off pace of play.

Fivesomes should only be for recreational (non tournament) rounds. If you’ve ever suffered thru a tournament with fivesomes, you’ll know why.
