The 7th edition of the Outaouais Open is an annual PDGA C-Tier disc golf tournament that is a part of the Tournée Pro-Am Disc Golf (TPADG). This year it will be held at the Ettyville SuperSpin Disc Golf Course, which annually hosts the Ryder Cup style "Pelican Cup" tournament between the best players from the ODGC and the ADGM. The winner of the MPO division is awarded «The Dome Cup».
This year our tournament is also a part of 2019 Ontario Cup Tour, and as such the top-3 players in each division could earn a spot at the 2019 ODSA Provincial Championships.

This year we will have at least $1,000 added cash to the two pro divisions from our generous sponsors.
The tournament features a combination of at least 18 CTPs or Longest Putt prizes (2 for every division and 1 more CTP and a Longest Putt prize for All Divisions). We will also have cash prizes at most holes. For the cash holes, players can opt-in for all the holes or only their favourites prior to the first rounds.
The winners in all divisions that feature at least 4 participants will each receive a trophy, and regular payouts will be offered to the pros and ams. As usual, we will put added cash in the pro divisions and we'll offer additional prizes for the ams. The Outaouais Open also offers more side contests, additional bonus prizes and a ton of fun!
Winners of all divisions will receive TPADG Victory Patches, and we have Ace Patches from Albatroz Disc Golf for anyone who hits an ace at our tournament. Please add $10 to your entry fee if you are not a current member of the PDGA (except for the Junior (MJ15) Division).
Camping is available on site for a $10 fee per person. Please arrange to pay our host, John Pytel, upon arrival.
An evening round of Random Draw Mystery Doubles will be offered on Friday evening starting at 6:00 pm for those wanting to get a taste of the new Ettyville Super Spin course layout. The entry fee for this Friday evening round is $8 with half of that going to the winning team(s), and the other half to the payout purse for the pro divisions.
Shenanigans are estimated to follow the Friday Mystery Doubles Round for the next several hours.
All women and juniors entering the tournament in their respective divisions (FA1, FA2, MJ15) will get an additional player pack which includes a great new disc of their choice from a wide assortment donated by the TD, along with a swag bag of useful things.
Any division must get at least 3 players in it in order for it to run on the day of the tournament. If any division has only 1 or 2 players in it, those players will be put into the nearest available divisions.
All players will also get a bottle of Kombucha from Y Kombucha, and all new players to the TPADG tournaments this season will get a water bottle and TPADG sticker, while supplies last.
Side events featured will be several «Ring of Fire» rounds (for people who have not otherwise won a prize at the tournament), a 2-round CTP contest, and a special Mystery Box will be available for a random draw, with tickets selling for $2 each or 3 for $5. All $ proceeds will be added to the payout for the pro divisions.
The owls from Camp Fortune have also resettled in the fertile grounds of the Ettyville SuperSpin Disc Golf course, but they still have a tendency to lose their young. If you find any of them, please turn them into Disc Central for a disc prize at the end of the day. Their parents are wise, so they only hide them in areas where discs should not fall, so you might only find them when looking for someone else's poorly thrown disc.
The TPADG will also be setting up the Y Kombucha Training Zone where you'll be able to warm up and stretch out on yoga mats, our ProPull Disc Golf Trainers, and our driver tent where you can unleash your best drives.
The TPADG will also be selling tickets where you can win prizes (Disc Golf Stool, great discs, Ace Runners gift certificates, U-Disc Pro memberships, etc...) on the day of the tournament), or become eligible to win even larger prizes (Prodigy T3 Basket, Züca Cart) at the TPADG Finals, which are to be held at Le PheNOMININGUE A/B Tier in Nominingue, QC in October).
