You are receiving this message because you are registered for the Hoosier Hoser Flex Start on Friday April 9, 2021 at the Shoaff Park Disc Golf Course.



This message will serve as the player’s meeting for the tournament. If you have any questions between now and tomorrow, you may shoot me an email or ask them at tournament check-in.



First and foremost, thank you for registering for the Flex! It will be a great, fun way to warm-up for the main event. A big shout out to Brian Miller and Jason Smith for hosting the best doubles event in the State!



Schedule

· Player Check-In / Flex Start: 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM

All Players must check-in prior to their round

All rounds must start between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM

· Awards

Trophies will be available at the Hoosier Hoser Main Event.

If there is a tie in a division, whoever has the most birdies will receive the trophy.

If there is still a tie, the player with the lower PDGA # will get a trophy.

MPO will receive cash payouts and they will be distributed via Paypal

If you are unavailable to pick them up at the main event, then they can be mailed or picked up at a later date.



PDGA Live Scoring

· PDGA Live Scoring will be utilized for this event.

· Each group will be provided with a secondary paper scorecard per 1.05G of the PDGA Competition Manual. The digital scorecard and paper scored must both be kept. Both scorecards must match prior to submitting the digital scorecard.

· I recommend that the youngest player in each group keep the digital scorecard and the oldest player keep the paper copy. However, work it out amongst yourselves.

· 2 people must keep score! One PDGA Live | One Paper or UDisc Copy!



General Info

· We are playing 24 holes off the red tees. Everyone within the group must be playing in the tournament (i.e. Can’t play with anyone that is just warming up for the main event).

· You must play the course in order from where you start: 1-8, A-F, 9-18 or you will be penalized.

· Masks are required at check-in and awards. Be respectful to others and their feelings about COVID.

· All players must check-in prior to their round.

· Ace Pool = $315 | 50/50 = $150

· If you wish to pay into the ace pool or 50/50 the day of the event, you must bring exact cash. They are $5 each. I will not have access to a card reader.

· The 50/50 hole will be Hole 9. Only write your name on the flag if you paid into the 50/50 pool.

· The ace pool will be awarded and split evenly to whoever hits an ACE! If no one hits an ACE!, 2 winners will be selected at random.

· Ace Pool and 50/50 will be distributed via Paypal.

· Bathrooms: Porta-jons will be available in the parking lot.

· OB Notes are Attached to This Email (If any differences occur, the notes within the digital scoring app supersede the paper copy).

· Reminder: This is a trophy-only event for amateurs. You will be able to pick out your custom stamped disc at check-in.

I have posted a picture of the amateur stamped disc in the pictures tab on Disc Golf Scene, which is being provided by Dynamic Discs!

There will be EMac Truths, Deputies, Wardens, Judges, Felons, Justices, Trespasses, Underworlds, Harps, Raiders, and Sheriffs available. These will be on a first come first serve basis - no exceptions.

If you would like to guarantee yourself a disc, register for the tournament ASAP!
