Boardman Park DGC OB List

(Please note changes for holes 8, 9, 10, and 17)

Hole 1 - On and over walking path on right side of fairway and beyond basket.
Hole 2 - No OB
Hole 3 - On and over walking patch on left side of fairway.
Hole 4 - Any disc on the tennis court or parking lot is OB. Any disc on the deck of the cabin is OB
Hole 5 - No OB
Hole 6 - No OB
Hole 7 - OB if surrounded by Water (river) on left side, down the hill.
Hole 8 - Note: The OB will be marked by a painted line on the bank of the river. Essentially, you are teeing off from the OB area. You must cross the marked OB line to be in bounds off the tee. Beyond the painted OB line on right side of fairway is OB. Player can choose to play line of flight (if last point in bounds is known), or proceed to drop zone.
Hole 9 - The OB will be marked by painted lines on the banks of the river. If you are in the riverbed between the painted OB lines that mark the river, you are OB. Player can choose to play line of flight (if last point in bounds is known), or proceed to drop zone.
Hole 10 - The OB will be marked by a painted line on the bank of the river. Beyond (right of) the painted OB line is OB. Player can choose to play line of flight (if last point in bounds is known), or proceed to drop zone.
Hole 11 - No OB
Hole 12 - Parking lot on right side of fairway
Hole 13 - OB if completely surrounded by water in ditch behind basket.
Hole 14 - OB beyond fence on right side of fairway.
Hole 15 - No OB
Hole 16 - Parking lot behind basket
Hole 17 - Beyond fence on right side of fairway, up to the island. Right of fence on island is not OB. The new flower bed is OB and will be marked. Green is an island green. You do not have to hit the island on your first shot. Any disc beyond green, left of green, right of green, or in gravel pathway, is OB. Play line of flight.
Hole 18 - Completely surrounded by water in swamp left of the basket. Play line of flight.
Hole 19 - Parking lot is OB. Note that there is NO mando.

The Green Oasis Championship is this Sunday! The course is in great shape. The new OB for the creek (holes 8, 9, and 10) will be marked this afternoon, as well as the new flower bed on 17. Note that the complete OB list has been posted on the event page on DiscGolfScene. Fingers crossed that the forecast improves! I will be posting an informational video tomorrow, and all are encouraged to watch. Sign in Sunday starts at 7:30am, and the player meeting will begin promptly at 8:50am. Let's go!

The Green Oasis Championship will be at Boardman Park on Sunday August 21. This is an amateur only C tier tournament. All players will play 2 rounds of 19 holes. There will be an optional ace pot for $2. Amateur payouts will be handled by Pure Flight Disc Golf. Players packs will include a Green Oasis Championship t-shirt.
