Second Round tee time is 12:45. Tee Assignments are posted. Just to clarify a few things. On hole one, if you are on the pavement after the FIRST THROW go to DZ, after that go to where you went out. On hole eight, it is a true island, go to the DZ if island is missed. On Hole 15, the green areas in the parking lot, are NOT OB. Play them as they sit.

The GCDGA welcomes you to a day @ Vineyard DGC.

This tournament is a sanctioned C-Tier tournament with two rounds of 18 Baskets.

Check in at the Tournament HQ before heading out to your designated starting spot. HQ will not be at Hole 1. We will be located between Basket 5 and Tee 6. This way I know who is here. With a smaller turnout I am concerned that there may be a group of two and that would not be good. So check in.

There has been some discussion about Hole 1. The Church moved it from its original location because of the erosion and damage to the hill. It is now dead straight from the tee about 340ft. We are going to play this hole as all pavement is OB. Remember, there is no curb, so sliding a disc might just be a good idea. Also, there is still much space to the right of the parking lot. We will have a Drop Zone for those that end up on the pavement.

A few other notes.
Please do not park in the way on Hole 1. There is a chance you may regret that decision.
On Hole 4, it has not been trimmed much, send a spotter up ahead to make things easier.
A spotter will be welcomed on Hole 16 as well.
Depending on how well the area drains, the walk to 17 may be interesting.

The OB's for the tournament are as follows:
Basket 1: On parking lot and/or street, if missed go to the flagged Drop Zone.
Basket 2: OB is on or across the Street.
Basket 3: OB is on or across the Street.
Basket 5: OB is on the parking lot.
Basket 6: OB is on the Road, in the playground, and in the pavilion brick area.
Basket 7: OB is surrounded by water and on and across the street.
Basket 8: Island green; proceed to drop zone if missed. DZ is marked by white squares on sidewalk.
Basket 9: OB is on the parking lot.
Basket 11: Mando left of marked tree to protect Hole 12 tee. If missed go to flagged DZ.
Basket 12: OB is Surrounded by Water.
Basket 13: OB is Surrounded by Water.
Basket 14: OB is Surrounded by Water.
Basket 15: OB is on the parking lot. Go to flagged drop zone if OB.
Basket 17: OB is on the road. OB is also right of the painted/flagged line.
Basket 18: OB is on the road/parking lot. OB is also right of the painted/flagged line.

The Access Code to the PDGA Scorecard is gcdga2024. A change from previous years is that now everyone on the card has to keep score. Either with the PDGA scorecard or a paper one. We will have paper cards at HQ.

I will post Second round start time on Facebook and on Disc Golf Scene. Being that I will be starting my round on Hole 1, 2 or 4, please make sure you know where you need to be, as I will need to be at my starting hole on time.
