The church plans to relocate the hole 1 basket away from the eroded hill. They intend to have this done before 5/11. If not, we will likely have a temp hole using the practice basket or located somewhere else on the course.

I saw that as well. Saturday morning I will look at the location. If it is in the 345' range, we will put up a shorter tee so that it is a friendlier island. Being that hole 7 is also an island, I may go with a shorter hole so you can go for it easier, with a drop zone. It will be updated on the scoring app afterward.

To me, hole 1 is bush league af. I agree, everyone has to play it, so fair enough. But if 16 & 17 are par 4s, hole 1 needs to be a 4. I don't think 16 & 17 necessarily should be 4s, but every tournament round I've played here they have been. If 1 isn't a soft 4, I think the island closest to the basket should be a DZ, similar to 15. If there was any sort of flat on the bailout side I woundn't care as much. I just think this hole is a bit much for this course without a DZ. Yes, I'm trash.

330' maybe more accurate....with an extra tight green with OB long and short...definitely change the aspect and approach in regards to the original pin...love having it back it just changes things....becomes real dangerous to parked cars...it is what it is
