Greetings players!
Just a little under a week to go for the event!
Our team has been hard at work to bring you this years edition of the Foxwood Open.
I am going to take a few moments to recognize the team.
Starting with and introducing Andrew Dekker, who this year is the event’s Assistant Tournament Director. Andrew has been a great addition to the team, taking on many responsibilities with Udisc layouts, on course updates, securing our supplies, fundraising, and numerous consultation. You will see a lot of Andrew at hole 1 this year!
In his second year as Volunteer Coordinator – David Sutherland. Goes by Sudz! His support recruiting, scheduling, and making sure all volunteers are taken care of. Add helpingwith fundraising and consulting as well. Sudz has added so much value, and I am very thankful for what he brings. Sudzwill be all over the course this year, be sure to give him a wave,if he passes thru during your rounds.
Mr. Adam Hussey! In his sixth year assisting with the event, Adam gives his all to make this event the success it has been! He hustles to get the sponsorship money. Plays a huge role in the AM players pack, prizes, and course layout input. Generally everything! I can’t say enough about what Adam means for the event, it’s a pleasure and honor to work with him. Adam is playing the event this year, look for him out there and assisting us after his round.
Finally, Darrell Bankes. In his sixth year with the event. Many of you know that he is running Canadian Nationals this year. Even with that enormous responsibility, he is playing another major role with this event. Personally, I couldn’t be more grateful to have his experience, knowledge, and support. Darrell is a game time decision to play this year, but he will be out there, likely on a cart bombing around doing promo and content.
On to updating you all on the status of the event!
