About this tournament

2025 marks the fifth year The Foxwood Open will be an A-tier tournament as approved by the PDGA.
The event will once again be a USDGC(2), Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf(1) Championship qualifying tournament for the PRO divisions.
The amateurs also get a chance to qualify for the NADGT National Championships.
Innova Disc Golf and Grand River Disc Golf Club are working together to bring this event to the Waterloo Region. The tournament will showcase the challenging and beautiful Foxwood Disc Golf Course.
All three rounds will be played on the White course.
Pro divisions offered will be MPO, MP40, MP50, FPO, FP40, and FP50
Amateur divisions offered will be MA1, MA2, MA40, MA50, FA1, FA2, FA40, and FA50.
Professionals will be competing for trophies and cash.
Amateurs will be competing for a trophy and prizes for the top finishers in accordance with PDGA Competition Manual 2.06 -https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/206
All AMs will come receive a great player pack and tournament experience.
>>>For 2025 we are offering additional divisions to meet the changing demographics of players. Please note that after a week, we will re-evaluate these offerings to determine if they will, or CAN meet the 4 player minimum requirement for a division. Should we determine that the division will not meet the requirement. it will be removed. Any player affected will be contacted and either placed in another division, or refunded their tournament fee’s<<<
All divisions will play one round each day, with tee off times starting on the Saturday. The course will be available before the weekend for practice rounds.
Tee assignments:
Gold M – MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1
Gold F – FPO, FP40, FP50, FA1
White – MA40, FA40, MA50, FA50, MA2, FA2

Pass Through Fee's will total $62 plus HST = $70.06
PDGA Per Player Fee $5.00
Course fee's $19.00 x 3 = $57

Grand River Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Up to the month before the event, a $10.00 fee will be charged.
