What does PDGA "suspension of event sanctioning to April 30th" mean? Is this event no longer sanctioned? Appears so to me.

Is this course open this weekend as of now do you know? Might want to catch a round there. Several of the county parks in Atlanta are closing. :-/

Vern Weygandt   March 14, 2020 at 8:12pm

Yes. Course is always open After school and weekends.

Thanks...we were more concerned about for the Covid-19 concerns. All the schools are closed in Atlanta, many of our parks are completely closed down and we are down a fair amount of DG courses. Wasn't sure how they are handling it there. Thanks for the reply.

Hi...question for you, does this blue layout mean men and women will all play the same tees or the same layout? I'm unfamiliar with the course and this event looks fun. We are looking for things easy enough to get to from Atlanta.

Hi Peggy. Yes, all players will play from the same tees. However, please don’t let that deter you, as this is not a difficult layout - this is a school course where most holes are under or around 300 ft. The two longer holes are par 4 to accommodate for the distance.

I should mention that the alternate tees are not actually shorter, but mostly different looks at the baskets.

Thanks for the reply. It does look quite playable and I see cart friendly which is why we are interested. I'll shoot you a PM. :-)
