About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a one-day, two-round PDGA C-tier charity event. Funds will go towards Fountain Inn area student organizations: FIKE (Fountain Inn Kids Enrichment) and the Fountain Inn Christian School volleyball team. There will be a payout for the pros and the Ams will be trophy only.
Down South Discs will be on site to vend the event. DSD accepts most all types of electronic payment.
FORMAT:
All players except the junior divisions will play from the "Aerial" (blue) tournament layout. This includes 5 and 14 long.
ANNOUNCEMENT (3/17/2020): The player's field for the Flying Falcon tournament has been reduced to 54 in order to have 3-cards. In addition, there will be no player's meeting, but a meeting video that will be made available one week prior to the event. Finally, there will be no awards ceremony - as each division completes round 2, 1st/2nd place trophies will be announced and handed out (the top three pro will receive a payout of $100, $50, and $25, respectively). All of this is being done to promote social distancing and limit the amount of people that may gather together at time, including potential back-ups. More information will be made available in the player meeting video on March 28.
