Can I move up to am3 and pay the $5 difference on site? Didn't realize novice was am4 prior to registering
From what I understand yes you can. I spoke with the TD an he said you can change at anytime your division as long a it is before tee off. That being sai I wouldn't wait that long if you really desire to move up a division. :-)
His name is on the tournament home page for flip city , or just switch when you get there. From wht I understand pre-registration is for a spot not so much or the category your playin in.

I am new as well and am registering for this tourney coming from Elkhart, IN. I have only done some recreational play with local club here. I have been playing about 7 months. Is Novice where I should start? Also, if anyone knows what exactly is the difference and what do each category play for.... As prizes. I get the minor just open play for money and the rest of the categories I don't really understand.
Also, is novice for kids? Haha I don't want to sign up for the wrong event...
Its based on playing level. Novice will have the lowest pay outs then Am3 and so on. Juniors is for kids but that dose not mean kids wont be playing the Am 4-3 levels the "kids" are getting good. I would most likely suggest Am 3 to start. But 4 is fine also . Cya Sun

John and Dan, I would just start in AM3 for your first tournament if you are not rated. We look forward to seeing you!
