I agree with Jeremy. Paying $80, driving 4hrs (for him) for maybe playing 21 holes with only 69 total people signed up on 3 courses to play does sound a little unfair. And then divisions with less than 6 people automatically move on to sunday? I'm not trying to sound rude at all, i like playing Apex events, but i am really confused on how this is consitant for all divisions.

I do not mean to be rude either. I simply was not aware of the RECENT changes to the layout. Because of the changes, I do not find it fair to change the players to only allow 1 single round of play when 2 rounds were originally offered at registration, plus the 50% cut. With the change to a single round on Saturday, the Sunday round sound be included for everyone and the cut should he removed (or the entry price reduced).

I agree with Jeremy and Cameron. Why would it be fair to cut the field after 40% of the tournament is played? Not even the pro tour does that, they do it after 75% completion. I think a cut is poorly chosen after making the schedule change. Making the 31 hole loop Saturday and the 21 hole loop Sunday would at least allow players to get to participate in over half the tournament the signed up for, regardless of how they do.

I agree with what the others are saying. I would hate to pay $80 to not even get to play half of the potential holes. I agree with Cory that making the 31 hole loop on Saturday would be better so you get to play in at least half of the even. Joining the Ace Race is fun if you don't make the cut, but not if you get cut before playing half of the event.

This event was planned with the anticipation of filling 3 courses over the weekend and for whatever reason it did not reach those expectations. I recieved complaints that the original format of 67 holes (2 rounds of 18 on Saturday and a 31 hole loop on Sunday) in 2 days was a bit much so we made an executive decision to modify the event to be less holes played while maximizing the "fun factor"so we decided to keep modified loops in play. Originally the cut lines were top 20 in each division, then it was modified to 50%, whis also does not cater to small divisions. 6 was the magic number that was decided upon. I appreciate your feedback and your concerns and I do take them very much to heart. This was unforseen and unprecedented and the first time I've had to make a decision like this. I apologize for the inconvenice, unfortunatly, sometimes last minute decisions dont appeal to everyone. Full refunds will be issued given that a request is made within 48 hours of the start of the event.

As an FYI to anyone reading these comments, this layout has changed. Saturday will be a 21-hole loop (course(s) vary depending on divisions) and Sunday will be a 31-hole loop including parts of all three main courses.
