Dear Buckhorn Classic Disc Golfers,
Thanks for coming out and supporting our second PDGA event out at Golden Eagle. I'd like to thank everyone that helped out. Glenn Dowdy, West Hammond/Golden Eagle owners, Jon Yankowski, The Wrightlife, Swing Station, and the 14ers.
We focus on beginner and casual players. We have heard about the desire for a fun beginner friendly PDGA event. We are happy to bring it back for you.
Whoever has the most fun wins. Pack it in and pack it out. Always a heads up on Wildlife. Fires in the designated fire pits. Follow instructions on the kiosk for camping.
If there is any issue throw a provisional and ask Glenn or Danny to clarify at the end of the round.
In most cases a group decision will work as well.
During the players meeting let me know if there's anybody that came out for their first time PDGA tournament
Out of bounds will be the barbed wire fence, crossing the water. 2 meters from barbed wire fence.
A few holes are just surrounded by water is out of bounds. The disc is in bounds if it is touching the in bounds bank.
If you land inside the island inside the painted wood you are safe.
The island hole has always been you take a stroke and throw from the drop zone. For some reason you go out of bounds after the drop zone take a meter in from the inside of the island of the painted wood.
No trespassing past the fence on hole three/the neighbor's.Please let the tournament or course staff know and we will retrieve them.

First round will be grouped up by rating, second round will be by the score
We will try both paper score cards and udisc. I'm not expecting Udisc to work though with limited to no cell service. Everyone has the same scorecard for both rounds. Turn them in after the round at tourney central. Please don't forget to turn in your scorecard and get disqualified.
Payouts in merchandise and The Wrightlife gift certificates. We will email you those on Monday.
We have some party subs for those that have free pre registered. Feel free to bring more food and beverages.
10:00 a.m. players meeting start 10:15
30 minutes lunch break from when the last card turns in their card.
Approximately 1:30 second round start.
Approximately 4pm Ctp, ring of fire. Play off if needed.
4:30ish awards at the end.
Feel free to hang around for the players party. Lots of beverages and a good time.
Scores will be officially posted Monday along with emailed gift certificates for the winners.
Next event is Discs for Dogs at Golden Eagle August 10th. Come beat the heat again with us and support the puppies.
