Tomorrow when you get your wrist band, make sure it is on your body somewhere. Not on your bag or your cart or back in the car. It does not have to be on your wrist, but can be on your shoes, belt loop, but it must be on you at all times on the property. It is a requirement of the property owner and you will not tee off if you are not wearing it. That is literally the first thing I will ask to see at the starter meeting before you tee.

Hey anyone with a tee time around 1 wat to switch for 11:10?

Evan Amstutz    March 12, 2022 at 12:19pm

Now that the weather is here I see that it would have been difficult/very dangerous for the first few hours of tee times. Thank you for all that you put into this event.

For half an inch of rain?

Bethel Barrett    March 11, 2022 at 3:10pm

Im sure there are a lot of disappointed people out there. We expect things to happen as planned. But guess what - circumstances outside my control happen every day of my life and plans/expectations have to be modified. I’m absolutely positive MB evaluated all sides of this issue and made a just decision based on play fairness and safety. What can we do - dont be that guy and ruin it for your mates, accept the best decision was made and be glad you didn’t have to make ... more

What were the original payouts and what are the revised payouts? Were all payouts boosted by $1750 (175 players x $10 a head for the Saturday we didn’t pay)?

Michael Barnett   March 13, 2022 at 2:08am

@ Keith...yes, it's actually closer to $2000 added to the purse.

Keith Steinmeyer   March 13, 2022 at 11:50am

Awesome, thanks Mike.

Chris O'Brien    March 11, 2022 at 10:40am

If we withdraw the player pack will be mailed to us?

Michael Barnett   March 11, 2022 at 4:42pm

Yes...

Chris Bruchak   March 11, 2022 at 11:49pm

Do we have the option of picking out our players pack at the very least before we turn around and go home? Or do we just get whatevers left after the bones are picked dry?

Chris Bruchak   March 12, 2022 at 12:20am

I'll say this. The course was well kept today with all conditions accounted for. This doesnt seem to be an issue where the tournament is being run by the seam of the shorts like the one afformentioned. I know intent was well here. I know nobody can for see the weather. But to me theres a lot th ... more

Evan Amstutz    March 11, 2022 at 7:31am

The cancellation is difficult to swallow considering the amount of money spent to be here and the vacation days used to be off of work to support this event. While the decision must have been difficult, it is frustrating to know that weather in Florida is constantly changing and the front has only been predicted to arrive earlier and earlier. No extra compensation in the players pack is disappointing and frankly I will find it difficult to show up early in following years just to pay the course ... more

I assume the course is still open friday, weather permitting. This still the case?

Michael Barnett   March 11, 2022 at 4:40pm

Yes...

Jon Prince    March 11, 2022 at 3:10am

Why not do a flex start on Friday? 5 bucks? Make it a little more worth our trip/accommodations and what-not. People have been here days out getting ready for this. Is this possible?

Mike, this is an amazing help to allow those who came to still get 2 rated rounds in. Thank you for working on this to try and meet everyone half way, it means a lot to us that you are trying to accommodate for us.

Evan Amstutz   March 11, 2022 at 5:40pm

Thank you for putting together the flex start!

Jon Prince   March 12, 2022 at 2:04am

Ya! What Mat said thanks for all of it Mike we really do appreciate it!

Michael Barnett    March 11, 2022 at 1:57am

Due to the extreme weather conditions scheduled for Saturday morning, the tournament staff has elected to cancel Saturday's round. Several factors have come into making this decision including fairness to all players (morning players will have drastically different weather than those in the afternoon), the safety of the players (both on the course, during the storms and also traveling to and from the course) and lastly, preserving the course for play on Sunday. The tee times posted are now ... more

Tough decision and so glad I did not have to make it. In the end - a very good call was made.

Michael Barnett   March 11, 2022 at 4:38pm

Anyone can withdraw, just submit a refund request.

Corwin Barnes    March 10, 2022 at 11:47pm

Will players packs and check in be available at any time tomorrow? Thanks!

Yes, probably early afternoon

Chris O'Brien    March 10, 2022 at 5:05pm

If anyone with a 1pm or later tee time would be interested in switching to a 7:50am tee time just shoot me a message. You would be switching with my father Thomas O’Brien.

No

Cameron J. Harbachuk   March 10, 2022 at 2:00am

It's doable especially with the course improvements on the walk to 7 (old 8). However, with the weather I would suggest a bag.

Bobby Bender   March 10, 2022 at 2:11pm

Thank you!
