It's been almost a month still no chill bean and starting to think it's not coming probably should have stayed especially after shorting my ace payout.

Steve Hedstrom   August 28, 2018 at 2:52pm

Please send an email to [email redacted] Sheldon. All ace pool payouts were equal.

"Lightning" Don Bush    August 1, 2018 at 12:45am

Just a fantastic event!! A ton of thanks to the volunteers, sponsors and TD staff for a slew of work to make this the unique, challenging and fun event it has been both times I have played.

Is there going to be someplace to see pics? I saw a couple people snapping shots along the round.

Good luck in Peoria.

Thanks so much Steve! :-) We're so happy to have you back again for this special day. Yes, we had multiple people taking pics and will be getting a link to them all here in a day or two. Will post a link here on DGS to see them as well. :-) Peoria here comes DIsc Downtown!

Clayton Kirner   August 18, 2018 at 11:07pm

Hey Steve, wondering if those pictures ever came about?

Steve Hedstrom   August 20, 2018 at 1:54pm

I haven't got them yet, but thanks for the reminder and will check on them. I want to see them too now that we're back from Peoria. :-)

Is am shotgun tee off at 930 or can we tee any time between 930- 1230?

Steve Hedstrom   July 28, 2018 at 11:23pm

Shotgun tee at 9:30 after am player meeting. All holes will be full. See you in the morning Ryan. :-)

sheldon bowen    July 27, 2018 at 12:03pm

Are the discs pdga approved? Anyone know how the buzzz flies?

Surprisingly not too bad. They are soft though. Most holes last year were not long enough to force you to really mash on the throw though.

Randy "Shide-Arm" Shideler   July 27, 2018 at 1:22pm

For me, a sidearmer, I put a lot of snap on them & still does not flip. By your pic, I'm gonna go out on a limb & say you appear to be a Roc guy. It shouldn't be a terrible transition to throw this Buzzz. Unless the mere thought of touching a Buzzz causes pain....

sheldon bowen   July 27, 2018 at 1:44pm

Appreciate the info guys, and yes definitely a Roc guy but a Buzzz isn't much different.

"Lightning" Don Bush    July 26, 2018 at 6:02pm

I'm off this Sunday and would love to play in this tournament but, I need a partner! Anybody wanna join me?

Yep, np. Thanks for asking. :-) See you guys on Sunday!

sam vandergraaf    July 23, 2018 at 4:29pm

is the family fun part still part of the tournament, or is it more of a casual round that my whole family can play along. my wife and 2 kids would love to try this format, and i was just wondering if all 4 of us can play as a group. thanks

Steve Hedstrom   July 24, 2018 at 2:25am

It's 24 holes this year, but short answer is yeah, play as many holes you want. Discs are $20 each. Kids disc-counted.

sam vandergraaf   July 24, 2018 at 3:59pm

oone last question, if i sign up and prereg for the family fun part, do all four of us get 1 disc, or is it just the 2 discs for the entry. thank you very much for your help, we look forward to seeing you on sunday

Steve Hedstrom   July 24, 2018 at 7:13pm

2 discs for the Family Fun round (1 per player), we'll figure out the kids in person down there.

Brynn Farnstrom    July 19, 2018 at 12:27pm

Is my team limited to only 2 people (including myself) or can I have a 3rd and 4th team member to switch playing holes on?

Steve Hedstrom   July 19, 2018 at 12:44pm

In the PDGA portion of the tourney, 2 person teams only in Pro and Am. The family fun round is non-competitive, so playing in and team format is fine there.

Miles Lawrence    July 19, 2018 at 11:40am

So for ams is this a byop doubles? We only use the discs given to us for the event?

Randy "Shide-Arm" Shideler   July 19, 2018 at 11:44am

Yes and yes. Join up for some rare treats - special disc & spectacular course.

Steve Hedstrom   July 19, 2018 at 12:42pm

Thanks Randy. Yes and Yes like Randy said. Last year's DD Buzzzes and "Urban Disco" Magnet or Challenger are also throwable, if you have them.

Steve Nolff    July 18, 2018 at 2:54pm

If you are on the fence about playing this tournament, get off of the fence. This is a one of a kind, unique opportunity. I played last year and this was one of the most memorable disc golf experience to date. Playing through an urban area, around buildings, streets, fences, water, sculptures and museums. The organization is superb and the tournament well run. Last tournament we had a guide that led us from hole to hole and kept score. You don't get chances to play this type of disc golf very often. Come on out and check this off your bucket list.

What will happen if no other MPO teams join

Steve Hedstrom   July 19, 2018 at 12:45pm

The disc golf universe will implode.

Steve Hedstrom   July 20, 2018 at 1:35pm

1st MPO team is registered. Time to join them Ian & Sam! :-)

Chris Trumbull    July 18, 2018 at 1:08pm

will there be extra "Urban Safe" ( all 3; Magnet, Buzz and Chally) disc available to purchase at player check in and if so how much?

Thanks Steve and you're right. No Magnets, but yes Buzzz and Chally extras for $20 either at tourney, on reg page when signing up, or email [email redacted] how many you want.

Chris Trumbull   July 18, 2018 at 7:21pm

My partner registered us so i did not know that. But good to know they will be available at check in. I was at the last tourney and have 2 Buzz aready but i ziplocked 1 for safe keeping. plan on bring the other but thought i might want an extra. Plan on doing the same for the Chally. ziplock 1 play ... more

Steve Hedstrom   July 19, 2018 at 2:10am

For sure. Thanks Chris. We'll have different colors, stamps and the 2 molds to choose from. I like the 1 to throw and 1+ to save method myself too.

Steve Simison    July 12, 2018 at 10:02am

Will you be taking walk ups the morning of the event?

Steve Hedstrom   July 12, 2018 at 1:20pm

Yes Steve, we will take walk ups the day of DDGR. Pre-reg is highly recommended to secure your spot and only way to get a shirt.
