LOST AND FOUND!!! Hi gang, thanks so much for coming out to the event this weekend. Riley and I hope you had a good time. The weather gods were certainly good to us! We found about 20 discs and I have contacted everyone who had a number on their disc. We also found several with no numbers. I have shot photos of them and posted in the Pictures gallery. Take a look and let me know if it is yours. Text me at 602.430.1043 and I can add your number to your disc and then turn it in to Spinners. We won't charge any money so you ought to get it from Spinners at no cost......I think :-). Thank you for your support!!

PARKING AND WARM-UP: Parking is widely available. There are a couple of lots open on the north side of El Lago Blvd, just east of Saguaro Blvd. It is a busy time of the year for the park so if you have later tee times, those lots may be full. You can park on El Lago Blvd all the way down to Panorama Dr. There is also the lot on Panorama Drive, just north of El Lago Blvd. To warm up, we will have a net and there are two practice baskets by tee 1. There is very limited area along El Lago to throw. If you want some full length shots, check out Desert Vista Park off of Desert Vista and Saguaro Blvd.

We are so lucky to be able to work with the City of Fountain Hills and the parks department! They are very supportive of disc golf. I met with the head of the park yesterday and was assured that all of the baskets not in use will be REMOVED and that the water was shut off yesterday and there will be NO MORE watering until Sunday night. That is all great news. We may not have to use alt tee-pad placements after all. Riley and I will make that decision on Friday.

FYI to all: We have a request into the responsible parties to remove 10 baskets that are not being used. This may or may not happen. If it can't be done, we will try to cover the unused baskets with black plastic bags. We will not do this until Friday afternoon. We HOPE to paint all of the OB lines either Monday or Tuesday of next week. All tournament basket locations are in place now. We will probably have alternative tee places on 3 to 4 holes for safety reasons and we have also asked the city to shut off the water a few days in advance, again for safety reasons.

Hello everyone! In the pictures gallery we have posted the course layout. It is the same as last year. The Pros play from Long 1 while the Women and Ams play from a shorter tee. On hole 9 the Pros and Ams play from a common tee and the Women have their own separate tee. The rules are also posted. The only real change from last years Desert Oasis is the 2 meter rule will be in effect. We hope to be out next Monday painting all of the OB lines. An email has been sent to all 25 of you. That said, DGS is notorious for having emails blocked. Please check your spam folders and even if you don't get it, all you have to do is to go to Players, click on EDIT below your name, add your shirt size, click continue and we are good to go.
