POSTPONED - Dallas Island Open II + WGE

Any chance this tournament will happen in the near future? Just curious about an update on what things are looking like.

3/18:

Good morning everyone. I hate to announce this, but the Dallas Island Open + WGE is POSTPONED until further notice.

Hamilton County has cancelled all organized events at their parks until further notice.

I am waiting on a status update from the PDGA in regards to my pre-paid order of the WGE player packs as well as the WGE as a whole before planning to reschedule this event. Once I receive that information and can plan a new date, I will contact those already registered on o ... more

Once I receive that information and can plan a new date, I will contact those already registered on options to keep your registration or request a refund.

Please do keep in mind, this COVID19 issue is not going away quickly, so getting quick and solid answers does take some time and patience.

An update for everyone. As of 3/16, we are still planning on running the event as scheduled. OF COURSE THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. If things change for the worse or the park closes we will reevaluate. We are keeping an eye on everything.

As we have been doing at our other events, will will not have a players meeting. Early check in will be available in a large spread out area. Hand sanitizer will be on site. Payout/Awards will be run differently to avoid a large crowd. More details to ... more

The WGE ladies only items have already been ordered (limited quantities available) but we are holding to order the regular players pack discs until early April to give more options for refunds if it does come to that. Fingers crossed we can just same "Game on."
