I volunteered again to help with this tournament but am now facing back surgery June 2nd and will not be able to attend. I have a beautiful camp spot, directly along the river, at Brewster River Campground, 5 minutes away. I have it for Thursday afternoon to Monday morning if anyone is interested. It is paid for and unfortunately nonrefundable. :-(

I am planning on registering for MA2, and just purchased the VTDG membership yesterday but I don’t think I have a member number yet. I got an order confirmation for it sent to my email but I didn’t see a member number. If I don’t have a member number yet can I add that to my registration once I know what it is?

In regards to the layouts update, I personally do not think it makes any sense from a competition standpoint to play the same layout two days in a row to then play a layout on the final day that is completely different, and wasn't played at all during the tournament until that point. I can respect flopping every year so everyone has an opportunity to play either brewster or fox run twice but i think the implementation needs to be re-evaluated. At the end of the day, it truly doesnt matter if AMs or Pros are finishing on 18 on Fox if it is going to change the next year with the current set up. However, it feels you want to showcase the pros on 18 on Fox and you change it for next year and then make AMs play Fox, Brewster Brewster so pros finish on Fox, they still get snuffed on finishing on 18 on Fox which is so disingenuous to the AM divisions even though the divisions still technically flop the amount of times they play the courses from the previous year. I feel Odd Layout day should be the first day if you want the back to back day format and Pro should start this year with Brewster, Fox, Fox and then AMs should play Fox, Brewster, Brewster. Doing it this way Pros still finish on Fox, AMs still finish on Brewster this year. I get this negates AMs playing Fox twice this year and pros playing brewster twice this year but i think this is a better format going forward for everyone and gives everyone and doesnt snuff the AMs off finishing on Fox every other year.
