Congratulations on finishing round 1! Tee times are up on the PDGA website through this link, https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/64885. Please pay attention to MP40 as your tee times are much earlier. For rounds 2 and 3 hole 11 has OB to the right marked by orange flags. There will be water and snacks on the course again tomorrow at Reidy. I am working to get more info about Goat Hill. I will be at Goat Hill early tomorrow to get the MP40 guys situated. We have event items available at the tents at ... more

Are there blocks of time predicted for the following days. Should we assume these blocks of time will be similar to Friday's tee times with exception of re-organizing after round 1 finish?

MP40 will play from 7-10am Saturday and Sunday at Goat. Tee times will start at 8am at Reidy each day. So yes roughly the same for C Pool, B pool will be earlier.

Callie McMorran    February 8, 2023 at 4:14am

Early Player Check-in will start tomorrow from 10-2pm. For any MP60 players I need to fix a few tee signs on the back 9 of the course. However, if you play before I get to it you are playing the same layout as the FP50 women which are on all the signs. I have put pallets over the water leading to hole 11. Please be careful when using them!! It isn’t the best looking solution but it works. I will also be adding some signs to help players guide the course. I plan to get those made tomorrow m ... more

If I'm playing MP40 with 2 rounds at The Goat and I want to spectate afterwards, do I also need to purchase a "spectator pass" or do I get a "players pass"?

Callie McMorran   February 6, 2023 at 8:24pm

You will have a player pass that allows you to spectate

Okay all the caddy books were re-sent for the third time. The email that starts with the three *** is the correct email. Sorry for the confusion. These are now PDFs and smaller files. I am headed to the print shop to get these made and put in the ground. Holes 12 and 14s baskets need to be switched for the layout that we are playing. You can still practice these holes. Please note that MP40 and FP40 are playing Goat hill Saturday and Sunday with golf carts. All other divisions are playing Reidy all three rounds.

As Glenn is the PDGA So Cal coordinator I refer back to this link several times The distance between events is about page 5 and has changed due to the growth of the sport

Ed Speakman    February 2, 2023 at 9:22am

Do you have the actual tee times per division posted? I'd like to sign up for MP60 but really depends on what time I would tee off Friday.
Thanks

I'm working on that right now. Along with layout and caddy book. Ill have it posted asap.

janice jones    February 1, 2023 at 4:37pm

Just checked out the layout on UDisc. Thanks for posting. Are the 600+ foot holes really par 3?

Callie McMorran   February 2, 2023 at 8:35pm

No, this will be updated.

janice jones   February 3, 2023 at 5:16pm

Thank you. Very excited to be able to participate in this event.

Ken Kegel   February 3, 2023 at 6:20pm

Big sigh of relief! 600+ par 3 was a scary thought! :)

would also appreciate any insight divisional scheduling plans or when tee times will be posted. For folks traveling long distances and looking to do some extracurriculars while there, it'd be much appreciated! Thanks!

Callie McMorran   February 2, 2023 at 5:10am

So the plan is for all players to be done teeing off by noon on Friday at Reidy. We will start at 8 each day. On Saturday and Sunday at Reidy everyone will be teed off by 11. You shouldn’t have a problem. All MP40 and FP40 players will be done teeing off at Goat Hill on Saturday and Sunday by 8:30am.

Callie McMorran   February 2, 2023 at 5:11am

Everyone should have plenty of time for fun after the rounds or to spectate at Goat Hill each day.

Robert R. Bainbridge    January 23, 2023 at 6:14pm

Is it the TD’s opinion that MP50 players could not handle a more difficult course? Is that the going concept for the tour? Gotta say, seems insulting.

Callie McMorran   January 23, 2023 at 11:01pm

Hey Robert, your comment is WAY off base. Goat Hill is being used for FPO and MPO for the Goat Hill Challenge. So the DGMT was only allowed 30 spots for players as the course can only hold 150 per day. With Friday only allowing 120 due to a golf course event. I also will point out the greens fees fo ... more

Robert R. Bainbridge   January 25, 2023 at 2:15pm

I see what you r saying. My comment is based directly off the information provided, in that it says “due to the difficulty” . I wish you all the best, and I’m sure there are a tremendous amout of hoops to jump through to run an event on ball golf courses.

Brentt Genton    January 20, 2023 at 4:12am

When will the layout be posted?

Callie McMorran   January 21, 2023 at 6:04am

Working on it. Allen has something put together we just need to connect. I will also be arriving in town two weeks before the event to handle OB lines, layout updates and a caddy book for this event.

Brentt Genton   January 28, 2023 at 11:49pm

I’m hoping to play a couple of practice rounds. Any update on the layout?

Callie McMorran   February 2, 2023 at 5:11am

The MP40 layout has been updated on UDisc. I am play Reidy tomorrow to potentially make changes for older divisions.

Brian Dickerson    January 9, 2023 at 5:36pm

I see player check in is the day before on Thursday from 10 am - 2 pm. Will there be a check-in option for Friday so people don't have to take an extra day off work?

I also will not be in the area until after work, and the drive down from OC Thursday. I hope there will be either a online solution or a day of option. (I expect to arrive about 9:oo pm on Thursday)KK

Player check in will be available on Friday at Reidy.

If you want a t-shirt for this event you need to register before Jan. 9th! After this you will not receive a t-shirt in your amateur players pack.
