Josh and Nate: thanks for a fun tournament and a sweet disc (and answering my questions during the tournament). My one bit of feedback is that I think the fairways of 13 and 14 caused some backup because tees were accidentally throwing onto the other fairway and you couldn't safely tee. Not a huge deal, but the pin might need a bit more separation if possible next time. Thanks for all the hard work putting this on.

1) Start time: Gates to the park open at 7:30 am. Round 1 starts at 9:00 am. Everyone must check in at tournament central before they can begin play, even if you run late.

2) Parking: Paved parking lot near tournament central and tournament holes 1 and 2 is limited, but there is plenty of parking in the dirt areas across from tournament hole 17's fairway (close to the check in area). It is $15 to park your car in the park if you do not have a SB county park pass. Carpooling is always a good idea.

3) Course layout: The tournament hole numbers are not the same as the normal course hole numbers. For example, normal course hole 1 is down by the closed parking lot and will be tournament hole 8. The tournament holes will have yellow tournament tee signs to mark the hole number. The course map is also posted in the pictures section on the disc golf scene event page.

5) Park entrances: Nate was able to have the park agree to open up the side entrance. He sent an email with the directions. If you choose to use the side entrance, it is cash only to pay the park entrance fee or you can use your park pass. If you use the main gate off of Euclid Ave (HWY 83), you can use your pass or pay with cash or card.

6) Course Permit and Access: We have obtained a permit to close the area of the park for our use where the course is located. The park has been good about telling people who are not part of our event that they need to go to the other side of the lake. It also helps that the parking area we use is really only practical for our area. With that, if you see someone on the course that is not part of our event, please be polite and let them know that the course is closed to all activities. Nate and I will be available to address any issues of non-event visitors. We have a pretty good track record over the past two years so we are hoping to keep it going.

There were a couple questions asked that I am going to answer to everyone.

7) The Toy Drive: We are holding a toy drive to bring toys to those who are less fortunate than us in the IE. If you bring a new, in packager, toy valued $10 or more, you will get a raffle ticket. If you bring two toys valued at $10 or more each, you get 3 raffle tickets! We will be raffling off discs and some other items from previous events, a DTW gift certificate, at least 1 bag (Helix Ninja) and the big one, an Innova Traveler Basket! The max amount of tickets you can earn is 3, but if you want to bring more toys for the kids, it will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, let us know.

8) Mandatory Planes; Some have asked about the mandatory (mando) planes and how they are determined since we are using mostly trees to mark these. For the most part, the vertical plane is the general area is the vertical part of the widest area of the main trunk of the tree. Not the canopy, the branches, etc. I will paint on the side of the tree where the vertical plane is and have it connect to the horizontal part on the ground to help determine this. I have included a picture from one of the holes with the mandatory plane lines in yellow.

I apologize to everyone that was waiting for the live stream of the players meeting. Remember that the tournament hole numbering is different from the normal course numbers since we are staging in the small lot while the main one is closed. I will have the caddy book out in a few days and posted here along with emailing it to each player. Virtual players meeting will be held on Wednesday and a link will be posted for you to access if you can't join us live. If you have questions, please get them to me before Wednesday so I can address them during the players meeting.

Just over 2 weeks until we play! Nate and I are finalizing the course layout and caddybook. The caddybook and course notes will be out sometime next week. Plan is to get with the Prado club guys and move the baskets next Friday so they are open to practice on the weekend. Note that tournament hole 1 will be a temp basket that plays on the island near the current parking area using old 17s teepad (we did thing for the Cowtown Throwdown, but the distance will be a little shorter.
