About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the Cowtown Christmas Classic, supported by Innova Disc Golf!
We will be hosting a Christmas-themed event at Prado Regional Park. This is a PDGA sanctioned Pro-Am C-tier event. This is a SoCal Series event with points towards the 2026 series.
There will be 2 rounds of play. Layout and number of holes is being determined. We are likely going to add some things to the normal holes to spice things up a little. There will be a lunch break in between rounds while we sort groups for round 2. Lunch will not be provided for this event, so each player is responsible for their own lunch arrangements. There is a shopping center about 2.5 miles away that has some food options if you do not bring your food.
Non-PDGA members are welcome to play! There is a $15 temporary membership fee that is charged for non-members to play. If you plan to compete in more events, you can register for a PDGA membership for the last couple months of 2025 and 2026 is included!
This is a SoCal Series event. SoCal Disc Golf Club members will earn points towards their 2026 standings. If you are not a 2025 member or signed up for 2026, there is a $5 non-member fee. If you would like to join the SoCal Disc Golf Club for 2026, let me or Nate know and we can help get you set up!
All Amateurs who register before 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 25, are guaranteed to receive a player's pack with at least 1 event-stamped custom Innova premium disc (You guys and gals know Nate and I do our best to get the cool stuff). All Amateurs who register AFTER this cut-off date will receive a player's pack of equal value, but we cannot guarantee you will receive an event-stamped custom disc. Amateur trophies will be given out to the top finishers in each division based on the number of players per the PDGA guidelines for a True Amateur event. Pros will be playing for monetary payouts through PayPal.
We will have some extra events going on during the round (CTP and such). More info on that and other fun stuff is TBD.
The regional park does charge an entry fee per vehicle (SB County park pass holders are exempt). I believe they increased the fee to $15 per car. Status of the main lot is still TBD, so I recommend carpooling to save some money, gas, and space.
Pass Through Fees:
Course Rental: $10 per player
PDGA fee: $3 per player
TD Fee: Up to $3 per player
SoCal Series: $2 per palyer
