This Tournament was "most excellent"! The grub was fantastic (the vegetarian sandwich was AWESOME) and the basket layouts were great! Looking forward to the 2013 Rock!

The cashless pre-reg is a great thing to have at one's disposal..........I'm personally a big fan! What I do know is that in that "state up north" if someone abuses the cashless pre-reg....example....someone registers for a tournament and does the no call no show that person is not allowed t ... more

I agree with the pre pay, and I'm one of the people who had to drop unfortunately :(

If you drop out early enough, the PDGA requires that you get your cash back, and if its something last minute, or you don't feel like playing in the rain, the TD shouldn't be the one who suffers. Also, if you do drop out close to the deadline, and the TD chooses not to give you the money back, they are required to give you the players pack items and all that stuff.

Yeah, it still sucks for you because you're out some cash, but the issue was yours and not the TDs.

i agree with the prepay. its too easy to back out at the last minute if you are not committed.

Firstly, thank you all for the wonderful words and comments. As Rick pointed out in his suggestions for the future, due to a huge number of drops the week of the event and (the field was 88 at one point, reduced to 60 day of), the CLE Rock in the future will be a strictly payed pre-registration event. As I am sure many of you are aware, not only do tournaments require people power, there is an outlay of money that is needed to make things happen. While our club will never get rich running thi ... more

Had a great time at the Roc yesterday. Thanks to all who helped to put this together. Special thanks to Gyo for the new basket placements. I actually birdied a few in the Roc! Marc, what a great lunch. That chick pea, raisen, carrot concoction was out of this world! Eric, you ran a tight show.

Suggestion for next year to help avoid all of the no shows. Get the registration up on the PDGA sight early and get people to commit with $$ early. If you paid already, the chances that you wil ... more
