I hope everyone is excited for the 2022 Capital Discs Open!!

We are just under a week for the tournament and there are a few things I would like to go over. In addition, I have attached this years Caddie Book as well as the layout guide for both the North and South Layouts. Please review everything and reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Clarity on the Layouts:

- EVERYONE is playing the red tee and red basket on the South Hatchet holes, NO ONE is playing the blues.
- For the remaining holes, the tee pad and basket in which you are playing are outlined in the Caddie Book and Layout Guides.
- If there is a shared teepad but separate baskets, MPO-MP40-MP55-MA1 will play to the blue basket. FPO-FP40-FA1-FA2-MA2-MA3-MA40-MA55-FA55-MJ18 will play to the red basket.
-If there sepearte teepads but shared baskets, please use the outline in the scenario above to know which tee pad you are teeing off from.
- ALL layouts are outlined on Udisc with correct maps, distances, pars and order of play.

If you have not already, you can register for the Distance Clinic with David Wiggins Jr. at https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Distance_Clinic_with_David_Wiggins_Jr_2022. This will be Thursday at Wilcox from 5pm-7pm. We will be meeting by North Layout Tournament Hole 1 aka Beach Hole 9.

The pro skins match is also Thursday at 2 pm and will meet at the same place. This year we have David Wiggins Jr., Nick Carl, Steve Brinster, Dylan Rees and Brett DeLamater. They will play 12 holes, each worth $100. The holes played will be in the following order: Beach 9 - Main 10 - Main 14 - Main 18 - Main 2 - Main 7 - Beach 1 - Beach 2 - Beach 3 - Beach 4 - Beach 5 - Beach 8. This is open to the public and free of charge! Come out and spectate 4 elite players crush the 4th highest rated course in New York State!

Hello Jeremy - if sounds like people are starting to receive their jackets/hoodies.

His are these being shipped out? Are you sending bulk orders to local clubs or are you sending them out to each members home address? When do you expect everybody to have them?

I think some clarity would be helpful and would limit the amount of questions coming in for you on this subject. Thanks.

Any idea when AM players will be able to use their gift cards? The online store/Capital Discs website shutdown in September, shortly after we received the email with our gift cards/payouts. The landing page says the website is being rebuilt with the goal of reopening by the end of October...

I was lucky enough to collect and use my am payout day of the tournament. Looking for any information regarding the jackets that were part of the advertised players pack. Last I see was that on Sept 26 they were being mailed out the following week. Has any person or club received them yet as I’ve seen both the club distribution method and mail method mentioned. Thanks. It’s a shame all this happens because day of tournament seemed to have no issues.

PSA to all 2022 CDO Competitors: If you have not received a refund, your payout for cashing in a Pro Division or Am Player's Packs, I would highly recommend you contact the PDGA. This may help you get your payment and it also creates a paper trail regarding this sanctioned tournament.

The link in the email doesn’t make sense. It states that if you’re in a club, you’ll send our jacket o the club. But it asks where I want it sent to after I selected the club I’m in.

Jeremy can you link the pdga result to disc golf scene so we can see all the AM payouts as well? Good job on the event. I know you had some hiccups to deal with but overall it was very smooth.
