elcome to the second edition of the Boulder County Disc Golf Championships supported by Innova! We look forward to crowning the latest County Champions on Sunday. Please read this email carefully, because it is chock full of important details you don't want to miss.

We have tightened up the schedule significantly this year. This means that we start later in the day, but there's less time between rounds. Play starts at 10:30am on Saturday in Longmont, and 10:30am on Sunday in Boulder. Check in at your first course on Saturday, starting at 10am. For details and course assignments, please see the attached chart and the pool play schedule listed below. There is a players party after the Saturday rounds at Grossen Bart brewery (1025 Delaware Ave Suite C, Longmont, CO 80501). Awards will be at the Valmont practice basket area, after final rounds on Sunday.

Course maps and layouts are posted under "documents" at the DGS page (https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Boulder_County_Disc_Golf_Championships_2023).

It is Halloween weekend! We'll have a costume party--with prizes--at the players party on Saturday. We are also raffling off a basket, a bag, and other merchandise at the party.

Player packs can be picked up at the players party on Saturday evening, or before your Harlow Platts round on Sunday. Every player who registered before the Oct 8th deadline can pick up a shirt. Amateurs also get tournament-stamped discs...and they're beautiful!

If you signed up after Oct 8th, we could not print a shirt for you due to production deadlines. We are hoping to organize a second shirt order, but these will be pricier because the order will be smaller. Please see Andy at the players party to discuss options.

We play rain or shine! There's a front coming through on Saturday, so be prepared for colder weather and maybe some precipitation.
