Please check in at The Preserve Pro Shop 10-15 minutes before your tee time. Players meeting will take place at the pro shop 10 minutes before your tee time.
PDGA scoring will be used as our official scoring method. All players will need to log in to
http://www.pdga.com/score to run the digital scorecard. The access code is “kpleagues”. PDGA Live scoring will help prevent any scoring errors and will alert you if there is a discrepancy between scorecards. Reminder, there are penalty strokes issued if your score is mis-reported, and PDGA scoring can flag/prevent these errors.
All divisions will be playing 1 round of 18 holes. The Caddy Books are here:

All Ponds/Swamps/Streams/River plays as a Relief Area (PDGA 806.04)
You may take relief UP TO 2 meters from any water hazard.
You may not take optional relief unless you take a penalty stroke
Puddles are not water hazards
Here is a summary of relevant PDGA rules:
PDGA 806.04 Relief Area (Surrounded by water)
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80604
A relief area is an area designated by the Director from which a disc may not be played. A relief area is considered and played as an out-of-bounds area, but no penalty throw is applied.
PDGA 806.02 H (2 meter relief)
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80602
The Director may announce relief greater than one meter for particular out-of-bounds areas on a hole.
PDGA 803.02 D and E (Optional relief with penalty stroke)
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80302
A player may elect at any time to take optional relief by declaring their intention to the group. The lie may then be relocated by marking a new lie which is farther from the target and is on the line of play. One penalty throw is added to the player's score.
No penalty throw is added if optional relief is being taken following a penalty taken for a disc out-of-bounds or above two meters.
PDGA 804.01 (Mando)
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80401
If part of a thrown disc clearly enters into a restricted plane, the player receives one penalty throw. The lie for the next throw is the drop zone for that mandatory. If no drop zone has been designated, the lie for the next throw is the previous lie.
There are mandatory routes on 2 holes. Hole #2 and Hole #15. Please be aware that there is a penalty stroke for missing a mando. Play your next throw from the drop zone if you miss the mando.
If there is a disagreement on your card related to the correct lie to play, or any other rules, and I am not available for clarification, please play a provisional shot and we can resolve the disagreement after the round. Do not submit the PDGA digital scorecard until you have spoken with me and determined the correct outcome. Please see “Provisional Throw”
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80902
Caddies and spectators are allowed, but I want to remind everyone that they must follow all PDGA rules. Everyone should also review and understand what qualifies as “Player Misconduct”
https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/303
There are no player packs or trophies. Payouts will be distributed within 2 days. There is $3 removed from each entry fee for the PDGA. The remaining entry fee will be applied to the payout pools. There are no greens/course fees. There are NO playoffs in the event of ties. All ties are split.
Payouts will be Venmo for Pro divisions.
If you want your payouts sent via PayPal, please let me know before the round. There is $150 added cash to the MPO division only.
