Hi all,
Thank you for playing in the 6th Annual Boyce Baumgardner Memorial Doubles Fundraiser! It's going to be a beautiful day for disc golf. After the round, I encourage you to check out the Cottonwood Falls Oktoberfest at the Community Building (near hole 17's fairway) for lunch ($12/meal) and cold beverages!
CHECK-IN
Team check-in is from 9 AM-9:30 AM. Tournament Central will be located near hole 1. Each player will receive one Boyce Baumgardner Memorial disc in their player pack.
There will be a short player meeting at 9:40 AM. Then, players will go out to their assigned holes. The two-minute warning will sound at 9:58 AM. Shotgun start will begin at 10 AM.
As soon as the player meeting is over, I will ask you to pair your team with another team. I will assign you a hole once you have another team to play with.
SCORING
The event is set up on Udisc, but I will also have paper scorecards available. You can use whatever works best for you so long as I get an official score from one person on your team at the end of your round.
All divisions are playing tee sign course notes. We are playing one round of 18 holes. All divisions play from Hole 5 Long and Hole 6 Long. Please note you can immediately go to the DZ/Short Pads and add one stroke to the hole score.
AWARDS
We will give out 1-3 place trophies once all scorecards are received. We are doing cash payout for the professional divisions and Pro Shop credit for amateur divisions. Please note that $10 per person goes towards the memorial fund, so the payout is not 100%.
WATER + BATHROOMS
Water will be available at holes 1 and 13. Please bring a full water bottle to the course.
The bathrooms will be open. The community building (near hole 17) also has restrooms.
